"My daughter had a layover in Seoul, so I booked her this downtown hotel for a two-day stay before her next flight. There's an affordable and comfortable express bus that goes directly to Incheon Airport, just make sure to have Korean Won cash ready for the fare. In Seoul, I'd recommend using public transport; it's safer and more reliable, and tourists generally won't get ripped off. My daughter, however, learned this the hard way right after landing when she used Uber. It was like dealing with a 'black cab' driver from twenty years ago in China, charging her nearly four times the standard fare and almost emptying all the Korean Won she'd exchanged at the airport. It was an awful experience and really tarnishes Seoul and Korea's international image. My daughter said she never wants to visit Korea again. The hotel itself was decent; she didn't encounter any unpleasant issues during her stay. There are convenient stores and small restaurants nearby that are great for exploring, and the spicy Tteokbokki she ordered for delivery was delicious. As for the complaints from other tourists on Xiaohongshu, she just took them with a pinch of salt."
