ADA JLocation wise, Marguerite Hotel is almost perfect - nearest exit is Myeongdong Exit 1 (bonus as it comes with escalator), the Daiso that is a must visit for all tourists, near to Namsan Tower, airport limousine bus (right across Hotel Prince), and of course, just opposite the Myeongdong shopping heaven. You can always return to the hotel to stash your stuffs or for a quick refresh. For Muslim travellers, ”Lepakla” restaurant is just 5 steps away from the hotel, and near to Kampungku and Mari Meokja. Facilities like water dispenser (located at Ground Floor and second floor), tea and coffee is available 24/7. Iron is available upon request, bur ironing in your hotel room requires a bit of creativity as the size of the room could not accommodate luggages, let alone an ironing board. The projector in the room was a nice touch, I asked the receptionist how to use it and he said I need to connect it to my own laptop. But I don't carry HDMI cables around, especially when travelling. So after fiddling with the remote, I found out that I don't need to conect it to my laptop after all, as YouTube and Netflix is already readily available on the projector. The down side is, the size of the room. I managed to lay open my 26 inch luggage, but that leaves me no more room for other things. But the worst part is, the service of the hotel. Due to my bad knees, I have made a request for a room on lower floors via Trip. Upon check-in, I politely requested again for a room on lower floors. However, I was assigned to a room on the highest floor. The staff said nothing could be done, which was really disappointing. The staff offered to bring my luggage to the room, which I was grateful for, however, I had to drag my luggages all the way from fourth floor through the narrow staircase all the way down, resulting damage to my luggage. So if going up and down the staircase (there's no elevator/lift), is an issue, you might want to check out other places instead.

Guest UserThe lobby is gorgeous and has a great style. The room isn't big, but I found it quite cozy, and it was very quiet at night, so I slept soundly. We booked a twin room, but the two beds were quite small, only about a meter wide each. We had two small children with us, and the front desk charged an extra 200 yuan or so per person per day, which I found quite unreasonable. If they had provided extra towels, toiletries, or even an extra duvet, or a small toy (without being asked), it would have felt like we were getting something for that value. But as it was, there was no difference compared to not paying, especially since even toothbrushes cost extra. As for cleanliness, don't scrutinize the details too much; a germaphobe would have to turn a blind eye. For example, the bathtub felt dirty to the touch, and there was hair wrapped around the faucet, but we probably wouldn't use it anyway, so don't dwell on it too much.

YiqunluanmahshehshsusThe hotel room wasn't huge, but there was enough space to open a large suitcase. There's no bathtub, just a shower, but the toilet is separate. They have an automatic ice machine. Every day, you get two cups to use with the capsule coffee machine on the third floor.
The location is excellent, right on the main road in Myeongdong. When you call a taxi, you can pinpoint the hotel entrance and there's a spot for the driver to pull over. Taxis are inexpensive to get anywhere, but remember to download Uber; it's very difficult to hail a taxi on the street when it's raining, though it's fine when it's not.
From the airport to the hotel, you can take bus 6001 or 6015. Bus 6001 is faster, so I recommend taking it first to Myeongdong Station. Cross the street and walk a little further, and you're there. The airport bus stop for departures is just a short walk from the hotel entrance, which is very convenient.
There's a cafe on the ground floor that opens early, perfect for breakfast. Nearby, you'll find CU and 7-Eleven, and a Daiso across the street. Myeongdong shopping street is right next door, with lots of street food stalls and restaurants.
The front desk service was also excellent. I left something in my room, and the front desk quickly contacted housekeeping, who found it. Their response time was incredibly fast. The staff on the first floor are very welcoming, greeting you warmly and even pressing the elevator button for you.
Oh, and you probably won't need an adapter; the regular outlets are usually sufficient for charging.
The only downside is that the shower isn't completely sealed, so water tends to leak out easily.

Guest UserEverything else was top-notch and, in many ways, exceeded our experiences at other Four Seasons properties. However, one aspect we found disappointing was the strict minimum spending requirement per guest. We were traveling with children, yet regardless of their age, we were required to meet a minimum spend of approximately $150 per person to be seated at both the terrace restaurant and the Japanese restaurant. Even at the Italian restaurant, we felt pressured to order both appetizers and main courses for the children. While the food and service were excellent, these policies made dining with a family feel less welcoming and detracted from an otherwise outstanding stay.

DongEdwardSpacious twin room with a separate shower and toilet, and the water pressure for the shower was fantastic! The location is incredibly convenient! Airport buses 6001 and 6015 stop right in front of the hotel entrance. Subway lines 3 and 4 are downstairs, and Myeongdong is just one stop away. There's a 7-Eleven, KFC, and Burger King right downstairs, plus plenty of local cafes and restaurants!

Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped. Although it's located halfway up a hill, there's a shuttle bus for tourists to Myeongdong and Hannam-dong, and it's also very convenient to call an Uber or a taxi right outside. If you don't go out, you can easily spend half a day at the hotel's swimming pool and gym during the day, and the lobby bar in the evening has a great ambiance with live music.
Ambiance: The hotel has a very old-money feel. The window views are beautiful, and the colors of the mountain forest change with the seasons, which I imagine would also change one's experience of the hotel. The rooms are very beautiful; I highly recommend a mountain-view room.
Service: The service is exceptionally attentive, breaking away from traditional Korean service. There are staff members at every point, especially in the gym and dining areas, who guide you, so you won't feel lost or confused when you go by yourself.

Guest UserOriginally, I booked a hotel in Gangnam, but considering factors like shopping and sightseeing, I decided to switch to Voco Myeongdong at the last minute. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
In terms of service, from the front desk reception to the lounge, the swimming pool, and breakfast, every staff member was smiling and dedicated to providing excellent service. It was really good.
For dining, the breakfast selection was extensive and the food tasted great. Enjoying a hot bowl of Vietnamese pho in the morning was very comforting. The lounge also had a good selection; happy hour offered three hot dishes, along with cold platters, desserts, drinks, and alcoholic beverages, all of high quality.
The room was also quite satisfactory. It was well-equipped with all sorts of amenities. The first round of the mini-bar was complimentary every day, and the quality was decent. The smart toilet and bathtub were very convenient. There were also USB and Type-C chargers. The only minor issues were that the USB charging port seemed to be of poor quality and often disconnected. The 0.8m bed was a bit narrow, and there was a slight risk of falling off when turning over. Also, upon check-in, there were two bottles of shampoo and one conditioner in the shower, and I had to inform the front desk to get a bottle of body wash sent up. Furthermore, the swimming pool closes quite early, at 8:00 PM.
The location is truly excellent. There's a subway station and several bus stops right downstairs. From the lounge, you can directly see Namsan Tower. Namdaemun Market is right across the street, and it's a direct walk to Lotte and Shinsegae Duty-Free Department Stores, as well as Myeongdong's main shopping street, making it very convenient for shopping. The hotel also has a GS25, Burger King, and coffee shops, making it incredibly easy to grab a bite or a drink.
I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Conveniently located in the middle of both tourist hotspots and local haunts, Grid Inn Hotel provided us with an unexpectedly pleasant one night's stay with the best service I have ever experienced.
The room was cozy and and homely, the air conditioning was as strong as you want it to be, and the beds were comfortable. While the shower drainage is indeed slower than other hotels as mentioned in other reviews, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
The highlight of this hotel is definitely the people. The staff were the friendliest and most welcoming I have ever experienced in all my trips! They also saved my life. I had forgotten to charge up my T money card for the airport bus the next day and the train stations were already closed by then. With only 50,000 won cash denominations, we tried to ask the staff on duty at 2am if it's possible to exchange for some small change. Well...she did so and provided us with different denominations just in case. It was a really huge help!
After we checked out the in the morning, they even personally sent us off to make sure we went the right way to the airport bus stop. It left us feeling really warm inside.
I rarely write long reviews, but Grid Inn Hotel has made our extremely short trip so unexpectedly pleasant it would be a crime not to.
Needless to say, highly recommended and we will be back again. :)
P.s. as a little reply to the other review we saw, the supposedly fishy smells probably came from this little stall that sells mackerels right at the back door of the hotel. Honestly, if you are a fan of fish, those mackerels smell AMAZING even in the morning, and the smell wouldn't get to you at all. We actually find it unfortunate we didn't have time to try it (attached a pic of the shop too!)

Guest UserWe stayed 6 nights here. Even though the hotel is older, but very clean and no smell no bugs in the toilet. 10 minutes walk to metro but 1 minute to bus stop with buses to almost everywhere, personally I do enjoy bus rides more so that is a plus. Free water, daily cleaning and basic amenities are really nice. + affordability! 100% recommend❤️

I’m Japanese travelerWe stayed here as a group of three. The three beds were arranged together, which was convenient. The separate vanity area was a nice touch, and the room was designed efficiently and spaciously, making it very comfortable to use! Besides the hotel's reliability and cleanliness, its accessibility is outstanding. Gwangjang Market is just a 5-minute walk north, and a 10-minute walk east takes you to the wholesale clothing area, where you'll find places like nyunyu. The bus stop is also very close to the hotel! Plus, there's an underground passage right in front of the hotel that connects to various subway lines like Line 4 and Line 1. This is perfect for avoiding the summer heat or winter cold! And there's a large CU convenience store right next door to the hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, highly recommended!
