I couldn’t say anything more that i enjoyed the trip, the hostel was so clean and has every equipment you will need and also the owner was very friendly with us, the emplacement is also convenient since it’s near the financial city of Shanghai, metro station is 200m away

Good location! But it was too cold in November so I have to move to another place. Also it’s hard to find a hostel

Place is just so so. Okey for 1 or 2 nights. Bed is a plank. Okey location. Good enough. Met some cool people, mostly seems like long term stayers.

excellent location, and it is in the very central of Shanghai, 3 train lines in walking distance nearby plus a ferry to get on board, and I enjoyed countless local foods and convenient stores in this suburb.

Excellent service. We were able to leave bags since we arrived at 6am and check in wasn’t till 2pm. Similarly, able to leave bags after check out. Very good amenities and rooms. Excellent location, it’s on a road with loads of restaurants and near two large subway stations.

So, I don't know where to begin. The place has such a good location that it can be a great hostel if worked upon. I can see why someone would lack motivation to do so. Most of the crowd here are locals or local workers. So, naturally the rates cannot be too high. I think the private rooms no might have a better experience. As for the dormitory, i was in the 8 bed. Most locals/workers. Noisy all night long. They don't have a sense of quiet. The two tube lights stayed on all night. Loud thuds of opening door or putting the charger on. Sometimes u can hear people on their phones. I'm not saying it's bad for an option. The price is cheap and location is brilliant. I didn't sleep at all. (I could not). The ac does not get turned on. The cleanliness might be almost average or slightly below. The toilet was alright. No hostel experience or socialising. No amenities as in towels etc. Wifi only in the common area, didn't connect on my bed. Spider webs in the corners, I have a mixed feeling. This place can I improve. For now may be I will avoid it for my next stay. Sleeping is a major issue here. The staff at the reception was nice and friendly. That is a plus point besides the location.

Pretty nice hostel. Maybe a little bit expensive. But this is probably closest location to the city center, you could find in this price range. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Lockers for bags are also in the rooms. There even the small outside terrace, convinient for resting and the phone calls. Probably it would be better with curtains on the beds, but for me this is not a problem.

My overall experience with this hostel was very good. Most importantly, the location is very ideal in the city centre. The metro station Dongchang Road is very close. Tooth brush, soap etc. are not provided which I think with this price should be provided. Overall, environment and hostel was really good and quite.

It's a good place which was located in the city center covering by full of metro lines

It‘s the low season and I had the entire dorm for myself. A bit of a pity, because I couldn’t meet people, bit I was staying two nights only anyway. The bathroom is part of the dorm, so you‘re only sharing with the people there which I greatly appreciate. There was a bit of a bad smell, though. Luckily I had a stuffed nose and couldn’t smell that well anyway. The mattresses look thicker in the pictures because the sheet covers the wooden plank and padding both. If you prefer harder beds it‘s perfectly comfortable. I was a bit late for check-in and very grateful that the guy at the counter checked me in, even though I startled him when I tried to open the door. Thank you very much for your help!

It’s my second time in this hotel, it’s nice and the location is good

It’s a good hostel to stay here for a short time, great location, near the center of Shanghai and metro station. However, I had some problems to find this hostel..

For this great location it was worth the money, cheap but very basic ..dated

Close to subway, but took some time to find the entrance since there isn’t any sign for the hostel. No curtains but overall is clean. Nice stay here as it’s not crowded at all. Recommended if you’re looking for a cheaper option in Shanghai.
