Dandy Hotel (Daan Park) Reviews

This hotel is absolutely amazing, I'm at a loss for words! The lobby offers complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea, and the breakfast is exceptionally good. The rooms are spotless and have a very modern design; I was truly impressed. They have mechanical parking, but since I'm not used to it, I parked at Daan Forest Park parking lot across the street. The hotel even provides classic instant noodles as a late-night snack, which was a really nice touch!

My biggest complaint is the bathtub in the bathroom! The tub is incredibly high. The gentleman in picture one is 1.73m tall with long legs, and the tub comes up to his knees. An average person would have to be very careful getting in. Forget about seniors or children, this design is truly concerning. The staff service was very good. The breakfast ingredient quality was a bit inferior compared to past visits, but overall it was still quite good.

I had a pleasant stay at Dandy Hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. The breakfast was simple and okay. A nice bonus was the 24hrs coffee machine in the lobby. The complimentary cookies provided in the room was tasty. The hotel's location is excellent. It is located right next to MRT Exit 1, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Taipei. However, Exit 1 only has stairs, so travellers with luggage may find Exit 6 more convenient, which is still only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There is also a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel, while a FamilyMart and Subway both within a 2-minute walk. There are some room renovations going on from 10am till 6pm currently. So if you're in the room at during these times, it might be noisy because of the drilling works. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable hotel in a very strategic location, making it a great base for exploring Taipei. I would happily stay here again.

The hotel was really clean, which was a big plus. However, it's not super convenient since there's not much around Grand An Park.

Good location, right next to metro station and walkable to yong kang street for artsy vibe. Friendly staff and housekeeping done for us even though we always leave the room in the late afternoon.

Its location is very convenient and the room is very clean and comfy! The staff are frieny as well! I will consider for my trip to taiwan next time!

Dandy Hotel Daan Park is a nice little hotel in a quiet part of town. There is an MRT Exit right next to it, but we only used it once because that exit (Exit 1) only has steep steps. We used Exit 6 (1 short block away) so that we could use the escalator/elevator. The bus stop is also close to Exit 6, and we found it more convenient to take the bus to CKS Memorial and Ximending rather than the MRT. Breakfast was just ok. They serve lu rou fan on some days, which is great. We didn't get to use the laundry machines, but they're available 24/7, for free. It's also very convenient to have a 7-11 right next door, a pharmacy across the street, and a Subway outlet next to the Da'an Park MRT Exit 1. Check-in and check-out were both easy. There is only one elevator, which can get busy in the mornings when people are going down to breakfast/checking out, but it wasn't too bad. Housekeeping did not wash used cups, which was disappointing, but the bathrooms were always cleaned well. We also liked that there's an air purifier in the hallway and in our room.

A very good hotel,breakfast is 👍. Room clean and spacious .Location very near 👌 to bus station.The nearest underground train station have very high staircase, if u cant climb the staircase with big luggage,is advise to use exit 6, have elevator and only need to walk 5 more minutes to the hotel.

The hotels location is super convenient. It’s just right next to the train station. Would stay here again next time.

Fantastic location right next to the MRT station, making getting around super convenient. It's also just across the road from Daan Forest Park. The rooms are all very clean and a good size, not cramped at all. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Plus, they offer complimentary instant noodles every night for a late-night snack! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The environment is very clean. It's right opposite Daan Forest Park. The service is also excellent. It's right next to the subway station. The breakfast is pretty good too, and the interior is also very clean. The hairdryer's power is a bit weak, but overall, the environment is great. The road outside isn't too noisy, and the soundproofing is decent.

The location is excellent, right outside a Red Line metro station which is super convenient. The hotel staff are very welcoming, and the room is also very clean.

Great value for the price. The location is very convenient, right by Daan Forest Park and close to public transportation, making it easy to get around Taipei. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall stay was pleasant. A very good option if you’re looking for an affordable hotel in a convenient location.

This hotel gave me a free upgrade, the bed is comfy, with free laundry service. They have a free good coffee, mini bar in the room, even provide free cup noddles after 9pm. Highly recommend to stay here
