The room is clean, well ventilated, well lit, and odor-free. Water, tissues, towels, and quilts are replaced every day. It is very comfortable to stay in the hotel. The price is also very good, and the cost performance is very high. It is about 50 yuan cheaper than similar hotels in the surrounding area. There are also Ctrip discounts. I stayed there for more than a week. My friend asked me to change hotels, but I didn't. There are many places to eat around, and there are various markets, textiles and flowers, fruit and vegetable markets, Hema Fresh, RT-Mart, Haidilao, etc. next to it. The subway is close, and it takes five or six minutes to walk. I will stay here next time. Guests can compare it. I compared it with Home Inn, GreenTree Inn, etc. It is worth it.

It is a franchised chain store. The aunts at the front desk are very friendly and the people in Shanghai are enthusiastic; the rooms are very good, the accommodation is OK, the rooms are quite spacious, the bath is hot water, and the toilets are very good;

I was glad to see Anna at the reception again upon my arrival. She’s always very friendly and makes me feel welcome. She arranged a nice room for me that I really appreciate and the view was very good. I also had some tea in the lobby lounge and the service was attentive and the staff paid attention to refill the water in my tea pot on time. This hotel never disappoints in terms of service. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location. Close to everything, like… EVERYTHING. I don’t think you can get a better location than this one in Shanghai. About hotel: this feels premium, it’s old, you can feel the history in this place, it’s actually an iconic place in Shanghai. Room: when I entered in the room my first thought was “Nixon was here”, you’re just feeling like in a premium hotel from ‘70s. But there is also a big LCD, and the toilet is next gen, with leds and everything, opens itself when close by and so on. Breakfast: has pretty much everything, asian and continental. Shanghai was my last place in China and after wandering in various places I was longing after a good continental breakfast; funny thing is that I started to prefer also Asian food in the morning lol; fish dumplings are really good here tbh.

This is my third time staying at this apartment hotel in Shanghai, and every stay feels like coming home — but this trip was extra special, thanks to a true angel: Bella. Bella’s service goes beyond expectations. Every morning, she would thoughtfully ask what I’d like for breakfast and whether I’d like coffee delivered to my room. Her kindness, attention to detail, and warmth made me feel so cared for — not just as a guest, but as a friend. She’s the reason I’ll keep coming back to this apartment. With Bella around, everything just feels more heartwarming and effortless. This apartment has truly become my “home away from home” in Shanghai. From the cozy, well-designed rooms to the convenient location, great service, and lovely little touches like fresh coffee in the morning — it’s all absolutely top-notch. I’ve recommended it to so many friends, and every one of them has had only great things to say. If you’re looking for a place in Shanghai that combines comfort, soul, and exceptional service, this is it. And if you’re lucky enough to be taken care of by Bella — you’re very very lucky!

The hotel is very beautiful. It’s newly renovated even it’s over 90 years old. The design is amazingly neat of the 1930’s atmosphere. Everything is decorated in detail. The rooms is clean and new. The bathroom is huge. The bath tub is beautiful. The toilet is equipped with automatic bidet. My family enjoys every moment here. The staff are all polite and helpful. The front desk staff can speak English very well. The housekeeping ladies and men are polite and kind even they don’t speak English. We didn’t have time for afternoon tea on any day while staying here as our schedules were full of activities outside the city but the staff gave us the take away boxes of after tea set before leaving the hotel after check out. We have a great experience here of 5 star services.

My second time stay here(and got the same room again) main reason why I came back in the amazing location. Thanks for the early check-in and let me switch to a room with washing machine. Well done for change of the staff smoking at the front desk. Cleaning needs a bit of work (maybe vacuum the room, a few super long hair found in the room). I would stay here again and have recommended this to my friends. Love to see some category of smoke free rooms.

Hotel was very central. Right opposite Peoples’ Park EXIT NO 8. The staff was good. This is a old hitel so the interiors are slightly worn iut. They gave us a room towards the back, which we dis not like. It was slightly difficult for my father as it had to be navigated by stairs after getting off the elevator. Breakfast was surprisingly good for a chinese brand of hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a business trip.
