Shanghai Jinshan District 5-star Hotels

To be honest, it's a holiday, and it has a Crowne Plaza sign. I suggest you return to the holiday, and the expectation and reality are closer. Maybe because of the Jinshan fireworks event, there are many guests and the service can't keep up. Relatively speaking, during dinner time, the service of the restaurant waiter is very good, and the price of the set meal is also reasonable. There are robots delivering takeout, which is also good.

Experience the Ninjago Room at the Legoland Hotel – a truly worthwhile family trip! We took our two kids to the Ninjago Room at the Legoland Hotel this weekend. From the ninja-themed murals on the walls, the character-printed bedding, to the cartoon rinsing cups on the sink, everything was filled with Ninjago elements, creating a truly immersive experience. The hotel's activities are so plentiful, you can't even stop by: LEGO building classes, scavenger hunts, pajama parties, bedtime stories, pool parties, and more. The lobby features a children's play area and building blocks, ensuring kids have a blast while parents can relax. The Brick Family Restaurant, filled with minifigures, is full of childlike fun. The breakfast is incredibly varied, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes, and includes LEGO elements. The kids enjoyed their meals with relish. Finally, a shoutout to the concierges, Willow Sheng Lingli and Li Chengjian! Li Chengjian proactively helped us with our luggage and provided a detailed explanation of the hotel's activities and amenities during check-in. Willow, upon learning we were visiting for the Ninjago theme park, thoughtfully planned a route through the park's attractions and even gifted a minifigure to our child, instantly bringing her to tears. The LEGO Hotel's service, ambiance, and activities were all excellent. I've already highly recommended it to my friends and family and will definitely be back!

We chose the Sheraton for our Legoland trip with the kids, and it was excellent in terms of environment, cleanliness, facilities, and breakfast. We headed directly to the park from home in the morning. For the return trip in the evening, we had booked a shuttle. However, there was only one scheduled service at 7 PM, and we unfortunately missed it because we couldn't find the pick-up location in time. A small suggestion for improvement would be to clearly mark the shuttle pick-up spot on your promotional pages and to proactively contact booked guests to inform them of the location. Another issue was that the contact number listed on the promotional page rang unanswered after several attempts. On the day of check-in, the front desk mentioned complimentary fruit, but when I called later to ask about it, I was told there wouldn't be any. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall stay was still okay.

I always get the Luneng Marriott and the Tomorrow Square Marriott confused! The Tomorrow Square Marriott boasts an absolutely fantastic location. It's a popular choice among international guests, and you can easily walk to Taikoo Li and many other nearby attractions. While the decor is a bit dated, it offers excellent value for money. Considering the price, location, and overall service, it's still a great option and definitely lives up to its cost. The buffet is also highly recommended. The lobby, situated high up on one of the top floors, already provides stunning panoramic views of Shanghai. I've stayed here multiple times. This visit, I specifically tried to book a different Marriott because of its newer decor, but I somehow got them mixed up again! I'll definitely remember this for next time!!! Oh, and one more thing, guest parking isn't complimentary here.

The location is very close to Nanjing Road-walking street, only about 200 yards. It is next to the People’s Square. It is less than 200 yards to the subway station. People are friendly. I chose the rate that incudes breakfast. The breakfast has many options for western people. The hotel needs a renovation. The carpet in my room is dirty or worn out. The caulk around the bath tub has molds. I would not choose the hotel again if it stays as it is.

This is my third time staying at this apartment hotel in Shanghai, and every stay feels like coming home — but this trip was extra special, thanks to a true angel: Bella. Bella’s service goes beyond expectations. Every morning, she would thoughtfully ask what I’d like for breakfast and whether I’d like coffee delivered to my room. Her kindness, attention to detail, and warmth made me feel so cared for — not just as a guest, but as a friend. She’s the reason I’ll keep coming back to this apartment. With Bella around, everything just feels more heartwarming and effortless. This apartment has truly become my “home away from home” in Shanghai. From the cozy, well-designed rooms to the convenient location, great service, and lovely little touches like fresh coffee in the morning — it’s all absolutely top-notch. I’ve recommended it to so many friends, and every one of them has had only great things to say. If you’re looking for a place in Shanghai that combines comfort, soul, and exceptional service, this is it. And if you’re lucky enough to be taken care of by Bella — you’re very very lucky!

Back in Shanghai, staying once again at the Yangtze Boutique Hotel Shanghai Same old place, same familiar charm. Stepping into the Yangtze Boutique Hotel feels like traveling back to 1930s Shanghai — the mahogany spiral staircase, brass elevator doors, and glimmering glass chandeliers all shine with the glow of a bygone era. Everything feels so familiar and comforting. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but every return visit here reminds me: Shanghai is not just about skyscrapers and cutting-edge trends — it also holds a delicate old-world charm and countless untold stories. Outside the window, the city bustles with traffic; inside, there’s a sense of serenity. The city keeps changing, but my affection for old Shanghai remains unchanged.

My second time stay here(and got the same room again) main reason why I came back in the amazing location. Thanks for the early check-in and let me switch to a room with washing machine. Well done for change of the staff smoking at the front desk. Cleaning needs a bit of work (maybe vacuum the room, a few super long hair found in the room). I would stay here again and have recommended this to my friends. Love to see some category of smoke free rooms.
