The service attitude at the front desk is super good, and the young lady is also very beautiful. Parking downstairs is very convenient, and the self-service laundry room is also very clean. The room is nice, the transportation is convenient, Wanda is next to it, parking is also convenient, and it is convenient to park on the ground and travel. The pillow is very suitable, and the sleep is quite comfortable. The bathroom is equipped with a rubber band for tying hair, which I didn't bring with me, which is very good.

A great hotel to stay in in the city of Shangrao. A clean and hygienic room, and a good Chinese style breakfast. In terms of location, itâs a 15-20min walk to Tianhong Plaza where there is a lot of food and drink. Itâs a 10 minute taxi ride to the train station. A negative would be lack of enforcement of non-smoking laws - a man during breakfast had his shoes off, resting his feet on the chair opposite while puffing away on his cigarette in the dining lounge - not good.

Hotel was clean but what really bothered us was finding condoms and sex toys available in our room. Although the room looked clean, the items made it feel like the room was dirty. Breakfast wasnât an option as advertised on trip.comâŠunderstanding that it is Chinese New Year but then guests should have been informed before booking. The room itself was comfy but we had hoped for the sink to be inside the bathroom as shown in the advertised photos. The entire hotel also smelt like smoke.

AAnonymous UserI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle.
My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating.
The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncleâs QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems.
We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints.
The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket.
Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view.
We had dinner in the neighbourâs restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbourâs, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat.
Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together.
The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbourâs restaurant again and shared some more moments with them.
The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them.
The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

LLiuhaifeiWhen we arrived in Huangling we called the hotel and within minutes the owner arrived (husband) to show us to the hotel (follow him if you are driving) which is just a 1 min drive away from the B cable car (use this cable car to go to the top - the A cablecar only goes to halfway up). He also took our luggage up to the 4th floor.âš
The room was a good size, very clean and in excellent condition and had the usual amenities. Here are my ratings for the usual important provisions :
Cleanliness (bed, sheets, room, bathroom) : âAâ everything was very clean and new
Hot Water : âAâ (as much as you want, very clean and hot)
Breakfast : Bento style. It was OK though for Chinese tastes rather than Westerners.
Friendliness : âA++â the husband and wife owners were so lovely and kind. They were very helpful and friendly and very generous, even providing us with a small food gift when checking out.
Location : âAâ it is just a 1 mins drive, or 5 mins walk, from the B cable car (the best one) !
Services : âAâ when we wanted to visit different places in the area / or get picked up to return to the hotel, the husband was just a call away - even when his car had a flat tyre he found another means of transport to collect us !
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and I have no hesitation in recommending it. We will stay there again when we next visit Huangling !

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

GGuest UserI was very satisfied when I first arrived at the hotel, but there were still problems with the details. The carpet was a bit dirty. If it was difficult to clean, it was recommended not to lay the carpet. There was a formaldehyde problem in the room, and the severe perfume smell was covered up, but my throat was very uncomfortable! There are only two bottles of water, which is overcharged. I have never encountered this before! The smart room is okay, the toilet feels like it's foot-feeling. The rainwater flow is small, the heat is slow, and the temperature is not high! The hotel đš looks relatively high-end, and there is free tea tasting! The tour group got up relatively early in the morning. Overall quite satisfied!

GGuest UserDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didnât care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. đ€Šđ»âïž)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didnât feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand itâs CNY and you want to go home early but thatâs not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously donât speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldnât understand us and wasnât helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

SSupholItâs very convenience to get into the hotel. The hotel offers free pick up from the tourist center. Staff canât communicate in English but, no problem for using the Google translate. No deposit required. The hotel ask all guests to add WeChat for communicate while staying at the hotel. Our room quite large but, lots of dust all over the floor as there was a big construction behind our room. The hotel continued to built the new phases. There are lots of steps and quite a long walk from the hotel lobby to the room. The advantage for staying here, the hotel guest can enjoy taking photos before and after all the tourists gone. Variety of food for the breakfast buffet. Check in and check out quite quick and easy. The room rate is higher than the outside valley for triple but more convenience. Not much privacy as the hotel was one part of the valley, all the tourists can walk around the hotel too.

GGuest UserThe room is over 2700, but it feels like 270. A family of four and one child came out to play, and booked a single-family two-bedroom family room. At first, I only saw four pictures, and the other room was not shown at all. I thought it should be the same as the picture. I never expected that the other room was so simple that there was only one bed, and my friends really only had a tatami bed. And you have to run from one room to another to go to the toilet. I am really dissatisfied, everyone must avoid it! The only consolation is that the service is OK, the shuttle bus driver has a good attitude, and the breakfast is pretty good.
