My wife and I stayed here for one day and it was one of the best rooms we had, the heated floor was amazing for the cold of the day. The location and the staff was also amazing.

Location ok,just walking distance to ancient town

Very nice inn in the heart of Old Town. You can easily access many parts of Shangri-la from here. The owner is very friendly and kind. The room had a great view of the temple on top of the hill and was very beautiful at night.

I only stayed in Shangri-La for one day, so I just picked a room and it felt good. We southerners are afraid of the cold, and the floor heating is so warm that we wake up in the middle of the night. The bathroom equipment is new and has a smart toilet. But it may be too new and the bathing facilities will not be used. Because we were at a high altitude on the first day, we did not take a bath to prevent altitude sickness. The location is convenient, it only takes more than 10 minutes to walk back from Sifang Street. The boss is friendly. I live in a room with a skylight, so I can see the blue sky and get good lighting. The overall design style is antique. It’s less than 300 in the off-season, so it’s worth it.
