Good: location . Nearby has alot of tradition eateries. Lotus. Beside has dessert ahop. Below hotel has a tour agency so you can plan with them after you reach. Room is clean. Staff is helpful . Daily toiletries are top up daily and room clean daily . Oppoaite lotus that stretch inside has alot of food… price is cheaper for food at This area. Eat goose and steam rolls… beef noodle soup… traditional teochew food! Hotel has washing machine cum dryer . Please had didi apps to call cab… taking cab to MIXC area only 10-12 RMB. Cheap !
Can be improved : aircon not cold for me .. choose non smoking floor alao. Water ahower pressure can be better .
Overall. A good experience . I stay 10 years ago and now o stay again. The hotel did improve on its internal decoration and design .

The hotel is very convenient for shopping and eating. There's nice food around the hotel. The room is very cosy and spacious, since they have renovated the rooms. You can take the public bus just outside the hotel to Zhong Shan garden easily. I will stay at this hotel again when I am going to Shantou.

Limited amenities water only 2 bottles in the room and you have to asking for more. And will only give another 2 bottles only (stay for 2 persons).

Loss key card but hotel charge 50 yuan per one piece (over price charge). This charge price did not mention. After negotiation reduce charge to 30 yuan (but still over price). Room rate 200 yuan but charge key card loss 30 yuan???
丢失钥匙卡，酒店收取每张50元的费用（超价收费）。这个收费价格没有提到。经过协商，费用降至30元。（仍然超价格收费）。房费200元但收取钥匙卡挂失费30元？？？
Hotel is look much older than the advertising picture.

This was my 3rd stay at the hotel. Last year I booked a suite on the top floor that had a generous living/dining room - amazing deal. This time I booked two deluxe rooms with queensize beds - one for me and one for my buddy. The rooms were worth the money as well.
The Overseas Chinese Mansion hotel is quite affordable. It still has a better standard (room size, furniture, age, cleanliness) than many other Shantou hotels.
The hotel is conveniently located next to one of the biggest supermarkets in the area. Many small shops and restaurants line the streets around the hotel. One can walk to the famous „small garden“ in a couple minutes.

Hotel was renovated few years back. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the bathroom toiletries fully provided. Hot water flow is good compared to previous times when the flow is not constant. Overall renovated nicely. Of course room rates are up which is understandable. Direct airport bus to and from this hotel. Strongly recommended.

We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. While the exterior looks retro, the rooms were new and modern.
Staff were friendly and helpful. There are many eateries in the vicinty too.
