The size of room is big and. Can’t complain for the price. Staff is friendly too. Only downside is you need an access code from the hotel to go up the lift from the lobby. But not really an issue. If you see anyone enter you can just follow in. Will stay here again."

"After reading the reviews, I can confirm that the Hyatt Centric is indeed as good as people say! 😁 The hotel breakfast offers a wide selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, including freshly made Chaoshan-style kway teow soup and fish dumplings – a nutritious start to power you up for the day! 😉 The room has a bright view with excellent natural light and is fully equipped with amenities like a capsule coffee machine and a Dyson hairdryer. The front desk service was excellent and very responsive. It's conveniently located just 1km from the Pearl River and 2km from Longyan South Road. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shantou! 🤗"

"Brought my parents to travel in Shantou and we booked two rooms in the Mehood Lestie Hotel. The hotel is right in the city centre which makes getting to the places of interest extremely convenient. The MixC shopping mall and the famous Longyan South night market are also within walking distance. We got a free upgrade to bigger rooms on the same floor, which is a plus point. The rooms are neat and clean, the environment is pleasant, and sound proofing is in place. We had a good night sleep and had no issues with noise whatsoever. The hotel also provides free tea at the lobby for guests to help themselves to. Overall, we are very satisfied with the hotel and service."

The location is excellent, with convenient transportation, and it's a moderate distance to Longyan South, Xiaogongyuan, and East Coast. The sea view is absolutely stunning! The family room was very comfortable, and actually looked better than in the pictures. Oscar, Joey, and Wesley were very thoughtful and helped us pick a great room."

"This hotel is highly recommended! It's just a few hundred meters from the ferry terminal, making it super convenient to get to QueShi Park on the other side. The 180° sea view is absolutely stunning, and all the front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. There's parking available in the back, and although breakfast isn't provided, there's a local seafood market right downstairs. Plus, it's next to Honglingjin Road Primary School, and the surrounding area is full of authentic local eateries."

"We arrived quite early, and the front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. Not only did she help us check in ahead of time, but she also upgraded us for free to a high-floor room with an amazing view, where we could even see the sea. The room was clean, and they even thoughtfully provided a toilet seat cover. We also managed to get a table very quickly at Xinghua Wuji Beef Hotpot, which saved us the trouble of waiting in line. The service here is truly impeccable! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!"

Definitely lives up to its reputation as a long-standing five-star hotel. However, it was quite inconvenient that food deliveries couldn't be brought up to the room and there was no robot delivery service; only medicine could be delivered."
