"I saw the hotel said it offered free pick-up, so I booked it. But I found that the car used to pick me up was really dirty, there was a lot of garbage on the seats, and there was a strange smell in the car. I felt that since they said they had this service, they should provide a good service. It doesn't need to be a high-end car, but at least it should be clean and comfortable. Otherwise, it's better not to say they have this service. I'm speechless."

My only suggestion would be to replace the floor cushions in the living room with beanbag chairs – that would be perfect! Five stars, absolutely."

I spent a long time researching and comparing before booking this place, and it turned out to be an incredibly wise decision. The hotel's location is simply the best in Shantou. It's right in the heart of Xiaogongyuan (Small Park) scenic area, directly facing the Zhongshan Memorial Pavilion. Honestly, Xiaogongyuan is a must-visit spot in Shantou, and this hotel itself is a historic building within the park. Staying here feels like living inside a beautiful landscape and immersing yourself in Shantou's local life. The hotel's decor and furnishings are exquisite, elegant, stylish, and grand. Even the complimentary drinks and toiletries are high-end. The breakfast is a set menu, but it's incredibly generous and offers a chance to sample Shantou's unique local flavors. Every single staff member is exceptionally warm, attentive, and thoughtful towards guests. I was genuinely impressed by the service philosophy and attitude of every single employee. It truly feels like every staff member adds value to the hotel and contributes positively to its operations and development. Although the hotel is located opposite the bustling Zhongshan Memorial Pavilion, and they kindly forewarned about potential noise, there definitely *is* some noise. After all, the area below is packed with tourists, and there are lively Yingge Dance performances with drums and gongs. However, by bedtime, it's generally not a big issue. The noise from downstairs didn't affect my sleep at all. What *did* wake me up at 1 AM was other guests on the same floor returning late, being loud and boisterous. So, whether you're at home or in a hotel, the quality of your neighbors truly matters most! A big thank you to all the hotel staff. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shantou, and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know."

Definitely lives up to its reputation as a long-standing five-star hotel. However, it was quite inconvenient that food deliveries couldn't be brought up to the room and there was no robot delivery service; only medicine could be delivered."
