GGuest UserI had a very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Zhujiang Road Food Street, so I got to try all the breakfast and late-night snacks. Before I even checked in, the concierge sent me recommendations for food and attractions, which was a really thoughtful touch. The room itself was quiet and clean.
Upon checking in, I received a voucher for an Americano, and the coffee beans were excellent. There was even a capsule coffee machine in the room. The hotel also offers laundry and fitness services, so the facilities are definitely up to par. I highly recommend the service, amenities, and the fact that it's newly renovated.
The only downside was the bathroom. There were only two hooks, and they were inside the shower area, which made it inconvenient for hanging clothes – they'd get wet easily. There was no other place to hang clothes in the entire bathroom. Also, the ventilation in the bathroom wasn't great, as it was still damp the next day when I returned.

BBellaxingxingThis hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Zhujiang South Road Food Street. If you're heading to Nan'ao Island by public transport, bus 161A is about an 8-minute walk away. Tianshan Beef Hotpot is also within an 8-minute walk. Even going to Longyan South Road or the high-speed rail station, a taxi ride is only around 10 yuan. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions, even allowing me to have a late check-out until 1 PM. The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities are up to the usual standard you'd expect from a Ji Hotel. But the best part was how quiet the room was (it didn't face the main street), which allowed me to get a great night's sleep. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shantou.

AAishuilanjuecsyThis hotel is hands down the best and most affordable one I've stayed at during my week in Shantou. First off, the location is super easy to find, right by the main road. Plus, parking is a breeze and it's free, which is a huge bonus for female drivers like me. The front desk lady even gave us two complimentary breakfasts! The room itself was brand new, the TV had screen mirroring, and the shower pressure was fantastic. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to hotels, but honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with this one. You can book it with your eyes closed. If I ever go back to Shantou, I'll definitely be staying here again.

TtigerThe hotel is located in the CBD, which is convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. However, this also brings a negative impact: it's quite noisy. You can hear construction sounds, car horns, and even exercise commands from downstairs.
The hotel staff are all very polite and accommodating.
However, the decor is a bit dated, and the facilities aren't quite on par with newer luxury hotels. The hotel breakfast is good with a rich variety, but the fruit station is a bit disappointing as all the fruit is icy cold.
Shantou is a small city, so there aren't many other hotel options to choose from.

GGuest UserI really have to recommend this place! The price was incredibly good value for Chinese New Year, and as a new hotel, it was super clean with modern facilities. The beachfront location is excellent, and my elderly family members were really happy. The only thing that could be improved is that I found the bathroom a little small, but overall, it doesn't stop me from recommending it, haha!

YYuanyuandechengParking at the hotel is convenient. Upon entering, the lobby made a great impression, feeling spacious and bright! The elevators were also convenient, but the hallway on our floor felt a bit stuffy. We booked a suite, which was very spacious, and the sofa in the living room was very comfortable.
Now, let's talk about the downsides: housekeeping issues. We had to remind them to provide extra toilet paper and water. On a second occasion, we were short two towels and two bath towels, and the bath mat on the bathroom floor wasn't replaced.
Moreover, the hotel surprisingly houses a KTV or perhaps a disco. The vibrating noise from it was incredibly noticeable on the 9th floor late at night. We stayed for three nights, and only on the second night was the sound slightly softer and ended a bit earlier. Especially on the third night, I couldn't help but call the front desk to complain. They said they would send security to intervene, but ultimately, there was no improvement. The partying went on from around 10 PM until roughly 2 AM, leaving my head throbbing from the noise.
The hotel breakfast selection was limited, but the beef kway teow was delicious! What's more, there are plenty of good dining options within a two-kilometer radius, and they all taste great.

KKnyong99The service was terrible. We stayed for two days. When we checkin on the first day at around 4pm, the room was not clean up and they staff said they were very busy that day and asked us to wait at the lobby.
On the second day, we came back at around 5pm after a whole day tour, the same situation happen. No housekeeping was done. Same excuse given to us .
This is one of the worst accommodation I have stayed in China. The staff are not welcoming.

RRenmomoLet me start by saying the owner didn't offer any gifts or discounts for this good review – these are purely my personal feelings.
**Environment:** The location is absolutely fantastic. It's right next to the Kai Fu Culture Museum and the Post Office, about a 5-6 minute walk from Xiaogongyuan (Little Park). Plus, it's not inside the pedestrian street, but right on the main road, making pick-up and drop-off by car super convenient.
**Hygiene:** They provided disposable towels, which we were all very happy with. The toilet and bedding were clean. The living room was spotless and very new; the living and dining areas were large and comfortable.
**Facilities:** The only slight drawback was the limited number of power outlets. It was a bit tricky to find a spot for our portable electric kettle. However, there was a real gas heater in the dining room, which was wonderfully warm and cozy.
**Service:** 100-point service! We ordered a lot of deliveries, and the staff not only received them but even delivered them to our room. We were also celebrating a birthday (with the understanding that we'd clean up all decorations ourselves), and the staff not only discreetly stored our cake but also gave us a small birthday gift. They were always friendly and chatty when we came and went. It really made us feel like all Shantou people are genuinely good-hearted, haha.
**Summary:** We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Facilities: Quite old. The TV doesn't support screen mirroring, and there are no USB ports. The twin room seems to be a converted double room, as there's only one power outlet next to one bed and only one bedside table. Food deliveries cannot be brought up by robots.
Service: We weren't verbally informed during check-in that there would be renovations on the last day of the May Day holiday. The drilling started before 9 AM. Otherwise, the service was okay.
Environment: Pretty good. Normally quiet. It's close to the snack street and the bus to Nan'ao Island.
