The hotel's location is great, with convenient transportation nearby. It's a 10-minute walk to Nan'ao Island, and you can take a direct bus. There's also the Zhujiang Road night market nearby, and a oyster pancake place there has really good taste. The Xiaogongyuan scenic area is worth a visit to see the ancient city's charm. My only regret is that whenever I left the hotel, I'd always smell a sewer odor, which was unpleasant 😔

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent. Right at the intersection downstairs, you'll find Zhujiang Food Street, packed with eateries from end to end. The hotel itself is relatively new, clean, and hygienic. We booked a family room, which was spacious and our child loved it. Since the food street is right downstairs, we didn't use the hotel's breakfast vouchers, even though the breakfast looked good. We opted for vermicelli rolls and pork tripe soup with rice noodles downstairs instead, due to limited time and stomach space during our trip. This hotel offers the best quality and environment in the vicinity of Zhujiang Food Street!

xiaojingzi00The hotel is within walking distance of MixC Mall and close to Longyan South Road. It's a short taxi ride to Xiaogongyuan Park. If you want to visit Nanao Island, you can rent a car and park it in the hotel's parking lot. Overall, the location is great, making getting around very convenient.
On hot days, if you don't feel like going out, there are plenty of food delivery options. They deliver to the concierge, and a little robot brings it up to your room.
I was initially worried that the hotel, being a bit older, might have outdated facilities. However, I was pleasantly surprised that everything is very well maintained, giving it the substantial feel of an established five-star hotel.
The room is quite spacious, with comfortable 1.35m beds and nice bedding. The air conditioning works powerfully.
There's an outdoor pool that looks quite beautiful.
The hardware is generally good, but I have to say, the service is pretty mediocre. When I checked in, they said there were no available rooms and they were still being cleaned. They suggested I go to lunch first and took my phone number, promising to call, but no one ever called.
The afternoon tea, which was included with my booking, wasn't offered proactively. I only remembered it the night before check-out and had to ask staff for the voucher.
When I encountered staff in the elevator, they didn't seem to have the awareness to greet guests proactively.
So, the 'software' (service) is far from five-star.

Exceeded expectations in every way! I was a bit worried at first since it was our first time staying in a local hotel in China instead of a big chain hotel, but it turned out to be surprisingly good.
We were warmly greeted by the staff, who explained everything we needed to know, and they were very considerate and helpful throughout our stay. The service was professional, and the cleanliness of the place was excellent. If you’re looking for a place within walking distance of the old town cultural area, this is absolutely the place for you!

AishuilanjuecsyThis hotel is hands down the best and most affordable one I've stayed at during my week in Shantou. First off, the location is super easy to find, right by the main road. Plus, parking is a breeze and it's free, which is a huge bonus for female drivers like me. The front desk lady even gave us two complimentary breakfasts! The room itself was brand new, the TV had screen mirroring, and the shower pressure was fantastic. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to hotels, but honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with this one. You can book it with your eyes closed. If I ever go back to Shantou, I'll definitely be staying here again.

Guest UserHonestly, the service was pretty mediocre, especially the laundry room attendant. She was incredibly chatty and constantly interfered with guests' personal matters. She told us not to dry our clothes for too long because they'd get damaged, then returned them before they were even dry – it was really baffling. Everything else was just okay.

Guest UserThis hotel was a true gem we discovered on our trip, hands down the best of the entire journey! The staff scheduling is very thoughtful; the morning shift has three lovely ladies who are gentle and patient, while the evening shift is handled by dedicated staff. Breakfast deserves a special mention – the 'kuey teow' (flat rice noodles) was amazing. The food selection is comprehensive, clean, and hygienic. The bedding in the rooms is neat and comfortable, and the parking lot is spacious with plenty of spots, so no stress about parking. The lobby has a pleasant aroma, and the air conditioning temperature is just right. Even the public walkway to the affiliated BBQ restaurant is meticulously clean, with no grease or stains, showing excellent attention to hygiene details. My stay here was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel to all my friends in Guangzhou!

The service was terrible. We stayed for two days. When we checkin on the first day at around 4pm, the room was not clean up and they staff said they were very busy that day and asked us to wait at the lobby.
On the second day, we came back at around 5pm after a whole day tour, the same situation happen. No housekeeping was done. Same excuse given to us .
This is one of the worst accommodation I have stayed in China. The staff are not welcoming.
