This time, our group of nine people and three families traveled to Chaoshan together. I sincerely thank the boss for his attentive service!
First of all, the experience is ideal regardless of hardware or software. Although the boss is young, the service is super intimate, and the WeChat reply is clear and instant. We have some ”leaks” on this trip. Thanks to the boss's carefulness, we have answered and solved problems one by one, which makes us feel very at ease.
Because of his help, we have a very different impression of Chaoshan. Thank you boss again!

We spent two nights at the Shantou Wuxiangju and really enjoyed having the entire ancient house to ourselves. The garden and pond are beautifully maintained, and the location is perfect—right in the middle of countless great eateries. Bottled water was provided and replenished daily. Just keep in mind this isn't five-star luxury: the pillows are quite soft and flat (which might not suit everyone), and many mosquitoes. They do help with luggage via motorbike from a drop-off point about two minutes away (look for the pin at 和记牛肉粿条汤). Overall, a charming and authentic stay.

Guest UserThe room view was absolutely stunning, overlooking the sea. The butler was incredibly thoughtful and always responded promptly. We were three women who struggled with parking, and the butler kindly parked our car for us every time. We had originally booked a three-bed room, but I made a mistake with the room type, so the butler specially brought us extra blankets and even provided additional toiletries and snacks. It was a really heartwarming gesture. Picture one shows the room's large French windows, and picture two shows the sea view from outside the window.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the business district, very close to all the popular dining spots. It's also super convenient to grab a taxi to Little Park or the ferry. The owner was very thoughtful with preparations, even providing souvenirs and tea, which was a nice touch. Any issues in the room were addressed quickly.
The highlight is definitely the incredible view. As soon as you enter the room, you're greeted by a huge window overlooking the river. Even on a cloudy day, the view is stunning. The curtains by both beds also open up to large floor-to-ceiling windows, which is a fantastic sight.
And the hot water is perfectly fine! I had a very comfortable shower. I saw some comments saying the hot water wasn't enough, but you just need to wait about 15 minutes – basically the time it takes to dry your hair – and then you can enjoy a really good, long shower. We showered for over half an hour.
Considering the price and location, it's an excellent choice.

Guest UserNot bad at all, the sea view is fantastic.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Service: The concierge service was excellent.
Facilities: The only downside was that the pool was closed, so I didn't get to experience it.
Ambiance: Elegant, and the perfume/fragrance smelled really nice.
Overall, it was very good, and the bedding was comfortable.

The service was terrible. We stayed for two days. When we checkin on the first day at around 4pm, the room was not clean up and they staff said they were very busy that day and asked us to wait at the lobby.
On the second day, we came back at around 5pm after a whole day tour, the same situation happen. No housekeeping was done. Same excuse given to us .
This is one of the worst accommodation I have stayed in China. The staff are not welcoming.

Zaizishitudoubaobei!I made a last-minute decision to travel with my cat, so there weren't many pet-friendly hotel options left. My main reason for visiting Shantou was to experience the local cuisine, so I ended up choosing this hotel because it's close to Xiaogongyuan (Small Park) and you can see the sea from just 400 meters away!
**Facilities:** Everything was perfect! The smart curtains were incredibly convenient!
**Hygiene:** Very clean! Although it looks like the hotel might have opened a while ago and is in an older building that's a mix of residential and commercial, it didn't affect the overall stay.
**Environment:** You can directly see the pier and sea view from the window. The location is right in a residential area with a local market nearby, which we passed on our way to Xiaogongyuan. We ate almost all our meals in the surrounding area and didn't bother with the famous '网红店' (internet-famous shops). We really felt like we fully experienced the locals' approach to food!
**Service:** The front desk staff (both the young men and women) were very friendly and welcoming. They greeted us enthusiastically whenever we came and went, and even offered to help with our bags. They were very accommodating to all our requests!
While the hotel hallway soundproofing could be a bit better, it wasn't particularly noisy when it was time to sleep at night. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Guest UserLocation: Situated right next to Longyan South Road Food Street, it's incredibly convenient for getting around. There are tons of great food options nearby; you can literally step downstairs and enjoy all sorts of cuisines. Getting to tourist spots is also easy with shared electric scooters.
Cleanliness: The room was spotless and well-maintained, with new facilities and no hidden dirty spots. The overall hygiene was excellent, for instance, the room corners were dust-free, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with no unpleasant odors.

Before traveling to Nan'ao Island, I chose this B&B after reading online reviews. Very satisfied after checking in. First of all, Boss Xiaolin is very enthusiastic and takes the initiative to introduce nearby bus routes, food, and tourist attractions. In addition to the standard quilt on the bed, I also asked to add a single quilt, and the boss readily agreed. The room is large and well equipped, and the bedding is great.
You can see the sea when you stand in front of the window, and you can reach the beach in ten minutes' walk. The bus stop for entering the island is just downstairs, and the stop is called ”Tianyu Villa”. At the beginning of the lively Promenade. After entering the island, the bus passed by here first before heading to the town. Two stops away from the bustling visitor center. It is recommended for tourists visiting Nan'ao Island to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Guest UserI enjoy reading to pass the time on vacation, and the quiet corner on the terrace is perfect for it. With a complimentary coffee in hand, I can look up and admire the ocean view, the fishing boats going to and from the pier, the relaxed daily life of the town, and the windmills swaying in the breeze. The sunset creates such a gentle atmosphere. The desk in the room is spacious and quiet, and the bathtub is great for unwinding. The bedding ensures a good night's sleep. The pool and gym are good for relaxing your eyes, and the kids' club is far enough away not to disturb the quiet areas. Plus, parking is convenient if you're driving.
