Shantou Hotels with Airport pickup service

Hotel was previously known as Meritus, location is near 2 shopping complexes just a short 10 min walk away, only sad thing is furniture look a little tired after years without major renovation, breakfast is ok with lot of choices catering to both locals & foreigners.

My go to hotel in Shantou. An older hotel that is ageing gracefully. Great location, friendly service, lovely rooms and car parking

We highly recommend Shantou International Hotel. The hotel room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel room has all the modern and necessary amenities. No need to bring adaptor and there is plenty USB ports. The hotel itself has many restaurants providing quality and variety. We dine at the Taichi dim sum restaurant...very nice. Hotel is 15mins from Shantou Railway station, making it convenient for those coming from high speed rail. It is within walking distance from Longyan food street and major shopping centres ie Mixc and Sunning. It is also near to tourist attractions. Most of all, we are so impressed with the staff. They are professional, proactive, helpful and warm. This is consistent throughout all levels of the staff. The reception staff even come out of the counter to help us with the Alipay app. Shantou has no subway so very important to be able to use the app to hail taxi. Thank you Shantou international hotel and especially its staff, for making our stay so comfortable and memorable 😀

My only go to Hotel in Shantou. Stayed there for at-least 6 times. Good customers focus service from staff service from bell hop , reception, housekeeping to Sheraton Club’s GROs. Especially Ms Leung , Eleven for their assistance & attention to my family. Suggest that hotel interiors need upgrading & to start upgrading soon to retain long term customers. . Definitely will be back.

The hotel service is in place. In the city of Shantou, the environment of this hotel is still very good. The room is clean and the location is OK. However, it is really difficult to get a taxi in Shantou. It is more convenient to travel by bus and electric car. There are not many restaurants around, but take-out can solve this problem. Overall, I am very satisfied with this stay. However, the hotel's sound insulation is not very good. If the next door is talking loudly, you can vaguely hear it. The children in the next room are quite noisy and were still shouting in the corridor after 9 o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, it is relatively quiet when sleeping. The hotel breakfast is relatively varied, you can eat enough, and the taste is good.

This hotel was originally the reception hotel of the Shantou Municipal Government, and it was not open to the public before. This time when I came to Shantou for business, my cousin moved into his new house in Beishan Bay, so he introduced us to live in this government hotel near his home. So I canceled the hotel I originally booked in the urban area and booked here instead. After staying here, I feel that it is worth it. The hotel is very new, with complete facilities, and there is a lot of space for walking and viewing.

I went to Mayu Island with my two families and chose this beachfront homestay online. The overall design style is simple and elegant, with white as the main color. The overall configuration of the room also makes people feel comfortable, clean and tidy. The room faces the sea and has a wide view. The waiter was very enthusiastic and helped us deliver our luggage to the room. After checking in, he also gave us a bottle of champagne for free. The breakfast was very delicate. Finally, thank you to the hotel's housekeeper Wu Zhongpeng and Xiaohei for enthusiastically helping us make exquisite photo frames, which added wonderful memories to our trip!

The service attitude of Tingting at the front desk was good. The hotel room was consistent with the picture. The decoration style was simple and elegant. I liked it very much. The various facilities were beautifully arranged. It was very clean. I felt relieved to stay. The surrounding transportation was convenient. The room air-conditioning and heating were also available in winter. I slept very well all night. I will choose this hotel next time.
