And if you return late, there's warm porridge to comfort your stomach (complimentary plain porridge and preserved vegetables after 9:30 PM!). While not luxurious, it creates a comforting sanctuary through its meticulous details. After four days of averaging over 20,000 steps, Atour's beds were our daily salvation for recharging and reviving. This trifecta of location, service, and sleep quality was enough to elevate our Shantou trip from 'good' to 'unforgettable'! If I return to Shantou, this will still be my top choice. It doesn't feel like a hotel; it feels like a second home in Shantou.

The hotel was great! We received a room upgrade, and it was spotlessly clean. The location was lovely, right next to a small park, which was very convenient. The service was excellent. Breakfast was a bit simple; some congee would have made it perfect!
