Arrived at the hotel on 16th January only to be told they couldn’t find my reservation 🤔. It turned out I’d booked the wrong date – my reservation was for 16th February! The receptionist, a chap called Nathen (or something similar), nonchalantly said “no worries” since no money had been charged yet, and that he could cancel it. However, as I booked via Trip.com (which offers no cancellation option), nothing could be done 😕.
To my utter dismay, on 16th February they still charged me! Despite endless back-and-forth with Trip.com’s support, the charge remains non-refundable 🤬. The customer care is so abysmal that it completely wiped away the good impression I had in January 😡. In short, this hotel is rubbish – rubbish of the highest order 👎.
