"The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the beach, and there's a restaurant downstairs too. The sea view from the balcony is beautiful, a full 180-degree direct view of the beach and ocean! The service was excellent; the front desk helped me call a taxi and recommended places to eat and things to do. It's a shame the weather wasn't ideal, but I'm planning to come back again in the summer!"

"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the rooms had great views, with sea views right from the balcony. The front desk and butler services were excellent, with prompt communication and shuttle arrangements, which made things much easier. The breakfast selection wasn't particularly extensive, but the food was delicious and replenished promptly. The public areas and pool were great for taking photos, making it a perfect place for a relaxing vacation. I would definitely stay here again."

"I've been to Shengsi many times, and this hotel is by far the most reasonable accommodation. The street food stalls are a rip-off – expensive and not good at all. The hotel owner recommended going to the county town for food, which was a great tip; it was both affordable and delicious. Renting an electric scooter from the owner to tour the island was also fantastic."

"So beautiful island and cute hotel. For me was really big surprise that near Shanghai have such a small and cute place. We choose this hotel because of the pool. It’s was so amazing to open balcony and see u private pool. Actually one pool is sharing between 2 room but nobody swim, so everything was only for us. Also the staff in the hotel is helpful, helped with booking tickets, explained about islands, took us to show bioluminescent plankton. Could be nice if hotel provide one free coffee for breakfast (now need to pay) and some international food (was traditional chinese breakfast)"

"The hotel's location is excellent, really close to the beach, and it's made up of three rows of small villas. The service was alright, and they even offered desserts and a welcome fruit platter in the evenings 🍉. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!"

"It was my first time to arrange my own itinerary. I compared many hotels and finally chose this one. The result was unexpectedly good. After my first night, the sound of the air conditioner affected my sleep. After talking to the landlady, I decided to change the room. I was very touched. The second night was very comfortable. I had two lunches at the boss’s house. They all bought fresh seafood from the market and cooked it themselves. It can be said that the cooking skills are as good as those in other restaurants. The boss caught the seafood today. I also helped with the processing, which is really full of praise. Before leaving the island today, the boss taught us how to book a boat at a low price. We learned from it and we will come again next year. We will also choose Xinyue. Thank you to the boss, wife and family for taking care of us for 2 days."

"Huabiao Island is beautiful, and so is the guesthouse. It's in a great location for its size on the island, newly renovated, and has a swimming pool. The owner has definitely put a lot of thought into it. I would definitely stay there again next time I visit."
