Inns in Shengsi

After the periodic exams, my roommate and I chose to travel off-peak. Shengsi Goji Island is a popular online celebrity check-in spot during the holidays, but there are also chaos such as taxis charging random prices and scenic spots charging random fees on the Internet. However, choosing to stay in this homestay has made my trip more than 90% successful. During the two nights I stayed in this homestay, I really experienced what it means to feel at home. On the morning of the hotel, when I was still waiting for the boat at Shenjiawan Wharf, the boss added me on WeChat and told me that I didn’t need to take a taxi after getting off the boat. I only needed to spend a few dollars to take a bus to the hotel, and said that I could ask her anything. After checking in, just when I was about to look for travel tips on Xiaohongshu, the boss took the initiative to recommend us an afternoon tour route based on various situations of the day. During my stay at the hotel, every time I walked out of the guest room, I would always say hello to the enthusiastic boss and his family. The guests in other rooms were also very friendly. When we were free, we sat in the yard and talked about the blue sea, and spent a lot of good time. I received another WeChat message from the boss before leaving the hotel on the third morning. This time, she brought us a big bowl of Tremella soup to practice. So my roommate and I enjoyed the last morning before leaving the island with the beautiful sea view and the small bread we bought the night before. Our island trip ended here. If I have the opportunity to visit this island with my relatives and friends next time, I will definitely choose to stay here again. This place is like an origin, carrying my love and good wishes for the rich natural landscape resources of this island. I hope that in the near future, the government will be able to regulate the tourism experience here and completely eliminate the monopoly of transportation on the island and the random charging of scenic spots. I hope that all operators on the island can take the business philosophy of this homestay as an example and make due contributions to the sustainable development of the tourism industry here.

The boss was very nice. The room was full on the weekend. There were really many people. After arriving at the pier, the boss waited at the door to pick up the boat. He went directly to the boss's car and returned to the hotel. He also took us to the seafood market to buy seafood for dinner (it is very good to process directly in the hotel). The room is very clean, the lobby on the first floor can eat and chat with everyone, after eating out is the beach, there is a bar next door, so it is very comfortable to go out and blow the evening breeze. (The small electric rent was contacted by the boss, and finally I troubled the boss to help me. 😂)

The room was clean and tidy, and the proprietress and the boss were very nice. Standing in the room facing the sea view, downstairs is the free Miaogan Village Beach. It is too suitable for children to play in the water. In the evening, walk to Dawangcun Commercial Street for 20 minutes. The scenery along the way is beautiful. Bus ~ there is a round-the-island bus, generally have to wait an hour to have a car, 5 yuan per person, so travel is chartered, each car takes 6 people, the island charters 50 yuan once, cross the island to Shengshan 60 yuan. It is better to live in Gouqi Island with children, because there are several free beaches, the water quality is also very good, and there are few beaches on Shengshan Island.

The room was clean and tidy, the rest was very quiet at night, the location was good, the transportation was convenient, the boss and the proprietress were very kind and enthusiastic, reminded us of the flight information in time, and came to the station to pick us up. Enjoy the feeling of home, come back next time, you will definitely come to this one. 👍👍🌹🌹

The room offered a sea view. What I particularly liked was that all the toiletries, including towels and bath towels, were disposable. I was pleasantly surprised that even the paper cups were individually sealed – a really nice touch! Another bonus was that the owner let us use electric scooters for free upon check-in, which was incredibly convenient! My only minor suggestion would be for the bathroom to have a curtain, as it gets quite bright in the morning.

The environment of the homestay is warm and elegant, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the lighting and ventilation are very good. The sanitation is particularly good, clean and odorless, and the sound insulation is good. The boss is hospitable and responsive, and will recommend local play guides. Free parking is very convenient, walking to the beach and restaurants are close. The whole is clean, quiet, convenient, and the service is full. You must live in Shengsi!

One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

The inn is in Shengshan Town, very close to the pier, and the surrounding restaurants, seafood shops, fruit shops, convenience stores are all over the place. The inn is in an alley. The proprietress was enthusiastic and gave me a big room. The room was clean and tidy. The facilities were a bit old, but the price was cheap.

The view is really great, and there is a beach at the door, which is particularly convenient. Although the facilities are not as good as the hotel, there are some. The bus stop sign is not far downstairs, watching the sunrise and sunset are very close; The boss is very nice, all kinds of directions for us, and also borrowed our transportation, thank you boss again ～ In short, highly recommended!
