The Edgeworth Shimla

We have just enjoyed a short but really pleasant stay at The Edgeworth, a historic house in Shimla, and were very pleased with our choice. It is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main town but is only a 15-20 minutes brisk walk to The Mall. Apart from the taxi to and from the property (which was kindly arranged for us) we walked everywhere. The staff were all courteous, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available and is good value. Room was spacious and a heater was provided. Bathroom was modern with a good shower and lovely toiletries. Highly recommended.

Edgeworth is a heritage property with all the comforts a Star property can offer. Additionally, Shimla's mall road is just a 20mins walk. The accommodation itself was cozy, clean and well maintained. We had stayed on this same property earlier in April this year. One of the highlights of my stay was the homemade food cooked by Mr. Ravi. The food was delicious, and he ensured to cater to our needs for less spicy food. The host, Mr. Shivansh was available for all the guidance and special needs. The property is located in the close vicinity of CM's house and Rajbhavan. Therefore, some of the roads are restricted to public cars and at times the GPS data is not very accurate. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming, and personalized place to stay, I highly recommend this homestay. I will definitely be back!

A quaint château, nestled in the hills with beautiful flowers and friendly monkeys nearby. The owner of the bed-and-breakfast trained at the Ritz Carlton in Abu Dhabi! Everything is clean and excellent. Highly recommend.!

The best place to stay if you like peace and calm and the place to stay for a couple of days before to get back to your everyday routine. You can even order food from their restaurant Amayaa which has a wide variety in their menu. And the desserts are to die for. Clean, calm and staff who are very helpful. Great place to relax, read and rejuvenate.

We were a family of 5 and had booked two rooms. We could not have asked for a better location and host. The place was warm and welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable and the in-house food menu suited our needs. They also run a restaurant - Amayaa which serves very good italian food. We liked it so much that we ended up ordering from there everyday. We enjoyed having breakfast in the garden, surrounded by deodars. Mall road was at a walking distance. The staff was very couteous and everyone made sure that we had a comfortable stay. Right place to unwind.

This was the most beautiful and professionally presented accommodation we stayed in throughout our Indian tour. The suite was particularly comfortable. Walking distance to the Mall, although about 20 minutes was an enjoyable walk. The host was very accommodating.
