Very near to the metro station. About a 4 minute walk. There’s also a small shopping center with a supermarket about 5 minutes away. The onsen was always empty and was amazing.
Convenient location that's just a short drive from Shiojiri-kita Interchange!

2 I stayed for the first time in a year. The room is kept clean and I like it. I was a little worried that the man at the front desk at check-in was a little unfriendly, but there was no problem other than that. Perhaps it was a corona wreck, restricting admission to the large communal bath, only 3 lockers were available, but when I went there was no one and it was reserved. The hot water was a little hot, and I was able to warm my body in the cold waves. The air conditioner in the guest room was a little bad and it took a while to warm up. Breakfast was over 8, but there were some side dishes. I thought it was suitable for free breakfast and the low accommodation fee. By the way, the signboard light at the top of the building is off, so if you are using it for the first time, you need to be careful.

I stayed at the Palace Museum, but it feels like business youth and the view is bad and dark, but there is no problem if I just sleep. WiFi has two points on the floor, one is not connected at all, and the other is slow but connected normally, so if it is difficult to connect, I think it is good to try another. There is only a moss burger where you can eat out within walking distance, so if you eat out, you will have a hard time without a car. The large communal bath changes daily for men and women, so I enjoyed it in the morning and evening. The breakfast buffet was very good.

I chose the hotel for the hot springs. The hotel has been open for a few years, so the facilities are a bit outdated. The hot springs are good, the water quality is very good, and there are several hot springs to choose from. The buffet breakfast is also very rich. The hotel is opposite Lake Suwa and the scenery is beautiful. The hotel is not far from the station, and pick-up and drop-off services can be reserved.

When I arrived by car, there was a person in charge who carried my luggage. I had a cold drink in the lobby. This is my second time staying at this inn. This time I made the most reasonable plan, so the room was a little larger than the room in a business hotel. There is only one chair. The room key was 2 book and it was helpful. When I sat on the bed in the room, Lake Suwa and the mountain 々 looked good. There are large indoor baths and small semi-open-air baths, but the semi-open-air baths are just a little windy from the window. The indoor bath is splendid and moist and nice. The indoor bath has been renewed, and the tiles on the wall are gorgeous and quite nice. The hot water wasn't too hot and I was able to relax in the bathtub. There were many washrooms, and the shower and faucet were the first type to use. It is a type that presses the button and stops it. It was very convenient because I could stop it when I wanted to stop. The washbasin undressing area is large and has amenities (there is also a water cooler). Supper was served in a private room. This time, dinner time was 17:30 or 19:00. The menu entitled Mikozen (already autumn menu) is sophisticated and has a small arrangement for each elegant item. Soup, grilled food, medium plate, pot, rice, and dessert are carried each time. The pace of the goods was fast and I finished eating in just over an hour. But it was in time for fireworks (8:30), so it's okay. The meal was satisfactory. 180cc of local sake starts at 800 yen (no 300cc. There is a quadruple bottle. From 3000 yen). After dinner, I could see the fireworks of Lake Suwa from 8:30. I didn't know about the fireworks, so I was happy with the surprise. Breakfast was also served in a private room. There was a Shinano pickles bar, and pickles were brought by each person. There is also a menu for breakfast, and there is an explanation of each item. 5 The clean bean dishes were Kutani ware. There are many items, but it was a light breakfast that felt good for the body. The restaurant seemed to have been renewed. I think it was dark before, but this time the private room was bright and not small. After checking out, he brought my luggage to the car and sent me off. The hall is beautiful, the customer service is good, and it is my favorite inn.

This hotel was booked as part of tour of Japan and we were there for only 1 night. As a solo traveller I was allocated a single room which was very small. It did however have a large bed which based on the space available was probably too big for the room. In order to get my case open to just get a small number of items I needed for one night I had to rearrange the chair and table so I could get the case open. The “closet” if you can call it that, was so small it only had 3 hangers and was probably only about 18inches wide right next to the door. I wouldn’t want to stay in this room more than one night. On the basis you pay a single supplement I find it poor that we solo travellers are given such small and inadequate rooms. In addition, as a tour from the UK, hardly anyone spoke English so it was hard to get the staff to understand when something went wrong, like my kettle which wasn’t working. In credit to the Reception staff, once I finally managed to get him to understand the problem he resolved it very quickly. Finally when we went to breakfast at 7.45am they were already full and we had to wait about 10 mins or so, then a number of the breakfast items had run out. There were 2 coach tours in and they didn’t seem to be able to cope or cater for the amount of people there. I did find the staff very friendly and helpful, so it certainly isn’t their fault. I wouldn’t recommend it for solo travellers.

This Hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the main station making it ideal for travellers using public transport. Its quite a modern hotel with well furnished rooms although probably better suited for single occupancy as the bed is against the wall making a difficult exit for one of you during the night. If you stay less than 3 nights there isnt a maid service but you leave your dirty towels and rubbish outside your room in the morning and clean towels are there upon your return later in the day, initially we thought it a bit odd but it meant we didn’t have to tidy our room before the cleaners came in lol. There is a coffee service in reception in the mornings and the hotel does provide complimentary items i.e. hair bobbles, razor etc. We were room only here so cant comment on the food.

We stayed 2 nights at Premier Hotel Cabin. The location is great, just across the train station. The staff are attentive and accommodating. Special thanks to Front Desk Tsunoda-san. He took the initiative to help me call the courier company for my missing package, and liaised with the receiving hotel to ensure safe delivery of my luggage. Breakfast was mostly Japanese style which we liked.
We stayed in small Double room which is a bit outdated. Shower tub and sink too small and not good to use. Should get a revamp.

Toyoko Inn Matsumoto Ekimae Honmachi is located in the central city of Matsumoto City, about 300 m east of Matsumoto Station. The best attraction of this Toyoko Inn is its good location. After seeing Matsumoto Castle, we checked in early and put our car in the hotel parking lot at the same time. Since I am a member of Toyoko Inn, I can check in at 3. After that, I went out for sightseeing in the city, but it was a few minutes walk to Nakamachi Dori and karate Dori, and there were many restaurants nearby, so I could choose a restaurant for dinner. It's not a luxurious hotel because it's Toyoko Inn. However, the inside and the rooms were bright and clean, and the staff were well educated and comfortable.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWhat an amazing hotel. The architecture, the attention to detail. I've stayed in nice hotels around the world and this would stand out anywhere. Certainly one of the most memorable and to find this in the Nakasendo is amazing. I remember coming across this hotel by chance off a YouTube video (channel: Abroad in Japan), and it was the push I needed to come to the Nakasendo, because I wanted to stay in a completely modern hotel. And so I built my trip around staying here. Making a non-refundable reservation at Byaku 8 months ago felt like taking a chance because there were only 3 reviews on Tripadvisor, and only a handful more on Google, and I didn't know my bearings around the area... and it was the right choice. Knowing what I know now, I'd absolutely do it all over again. A lot more reviews on Google now too. I guess no one uses this site anymore ;) Byaku is amazing. I know I already said that. They started off with 2 or 3 buildings. Now they have 16 rooms across 4 buildings. I stayed in Room 110, it was beautiful. Absolutely go for the dining-included option, because their restaurant, Kura, is where you're going to have the best meals in the Nakasendo. 1 night is not enough. 3 nights might be too much. 2 nights felt perfect. Things to do in Narai town... not much. Day hikes around using the hotel as a base. Our main highlight in Nakasendo was taking the train to Nagiso to get to Tsumago, and hiking Tsumago to Magome. Take note the local trains to/from Narai station are not very frequent so make a note of the timings!
GGuest User2 I stayed for the first time in a year.
KkeikoiijimaI booked the previous night for early check-in this time and booked a total of 11 nights. As with the last time I stayed, the staff were very kind. The coin laundry had a detergent that can be used for free. There were many kinds of free rental goods for hangers, mirrors and other fixtures used in the room, and we used them conveniently. The sushiro in front of me and the cow horn in the same premises were used, but the convenience store near 1 was closed and only that was inconvenient. However, I think the hotel itself is 100 points full.
IInspiration803559After all, there is a sense of security of the route inn. There is a large bath and it is good to put it in the bath. Is it a design problem that there is only 1 elevator? The room is also kept clean and has a good feeling. But I felt that the TV was a little old type. Although there is no problem with viewing. Breakfast is a buffet, but there are also a few points of side dishes, and you can do it from the morning. The side dish replenishment is also regularly performed and you can have a good feeling. Near the hotel, there are local supermarkets, convenience stores and gyudon chain stores in Nagano Prefecture. It is a little far from the station, but it is located on the main road side and close to the high-speed IC, so it is convenient to use in the car.
AAnonymous UserI booked it for the night before the Matsumoto marathon.
Close to the station, nearby bandit Yaki tavern, chain tavern, convenience store are also within 5 minutes walk
Amenities are shampoo, body soap, etc.
Minwu も Air-clearing Machine あり and Qili です
However, the sound of the sound from other rooms (Japanese room) is too noisy
Even if you look with your family, you can run around until 23 o'clock, jump, hit the pico pico hammer, scream, etc., and hear the walls
I had to wake up at 4 in the morning, but I couldn't sleep because I was nervous.
Because the guests stay in various circumstances, it is difficult to be careful between the parties to spend quietly at night at least, so I wanted the administrator to be careful
or i wanted you to be careful with paper.
DDerrick Very near to the metro station. About a 4 minute walk. There’s also a small shopping center with a supermarket about 5 minutes away. The onsen was always empty and was amazing.
