The location is excellent, just opposite Windsor Castle, very close to the train station, shopping and eating around are very convenient. The hotel is very warm, the only downside is that the shower is not so convenient.

GGuest UserWe had a superb time at Oakley Court. We were two families with four little kids between us. The mansion house rooms we had were large and beautifully appointed with views over the river. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room amenities are generous. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful, plus very patient with many questions. Our kids were ecstatic when they went into the walled gardens and tucked away they found the biggest bouncy castle ever (well bouncy Stonehenge, I should say -- you'll have to look it up, never seen anything like it!) The River House is of course delightful and we all enjoyed a balmy summer evening and dinner there. Everyone loved the pool/jacuzzi time in the morning and in the afternoon we went boating, which was a memorable trip amongst the swans. We loved all the touches in the hotel, from the unusual antique furniture to the well loved plants. The staff team make the place feel like a community which is a rare thing and much appreciated. We will definitely return!

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and on both occasions the room, cleanliness and staff have been excellent. Food was good the only disappointment being that I received an email @a week before I travelled to say that dinner and lunch would not be available on the Friday due to an event that was being catered for at the hotel, and the the attendees were rather loud when they went onto the patio at the rear of the function room during the night and the early hours of the morning (to be clear they couldn’t be heard when they were indoors and the doors were shut). This is a hotel that is very convenient for Windsor and the surrounding area and has lovely grounds for a peaceful walk after a long journey or a hectic day.

GGuest UserLovely hotel, right opposite the castle. Our room was lovely, it was a really good size. The bar and lobby though was vey cold and uninviting, could have done with the air conditioning being turned down, otherwise a very pleasant stay.

GGuest UserSixteen of us arrived a couple of weeks ago as part of a wedding party, check in was smooth, a very special mention to ”Grace” on reception a very friendly person that went out of her way in every way for us, always had a smile for everyone A few people mentioned the breakfast being below standard, small plates etc. the plates might have been a bit small, but it did not stop anyone going back up again for a second helping basic yes but plenty of hot and cold food, delicious coffee from a dispenser Not sure if it was us or what? but they ran out of Stella and Becks and were never replenished for the following day pity really as there wasn't much choice of beers Our room was basic with a very comfortable bed with fresh sheets and a nice bathroom with a nice size walk in shower, cleaners do a good job no complaints there Overall, not too bad just basic

丁丁Pros: The location is good, it is great to have breakfast on the Thames and Eaton Bridge early in the morning. The same English breakfast. The parking lot needs to be parked outside. Disadvantages: Luggage and children pay attention, our room is in need of climbing the old British building three floors and it is the kind of transfer, the estimated trouble. The bed in the room is small and not suitable for a family of three. The extra bed did not know, there was no call. PS: The room is not air conditioned!

MmichaelgeoffreyWe arrived just as a Wake was gathering! Despite that, we were warmly greeted and shown to our room, which was as described, although looking in need of freshening up. We understand a refurb is planned later this year, which will certainly make the place more inviting. We did a lovely circular walk into Windsor, returning via the Long Walk with an exit just a few hundred yards from the Union Inn. As we neared the end we looked forward to showers, so were disappointed to find no hot water in our room. We reported the problem and staff investigated. After two hours we were told a plumber would be out after breakfast. Whilst this was a tad inconvenient, we were treated very well by the Landlady who personally cooked and served us breakfast; she introduced us to her delightful Kite feeding routine and for our inconvenience said there would be no charge for our stay. We offered to pay for breakfast, but she refused to accept. A situation that could’ve resulted in an overall bad experience ended with us booking to return again in September, when we’re promised the water will be hot!! Thanks for looking after us so well.
