Sigiriya Jungles

Garden-style hotel, with beautiful scenery and large rooms. There is also a welcome ceremony when arriving at the hotel. There are not many people staying at the hotel. The most funny thing is that from the lobby to the room, the bottle car cannot pass the path smoothly. At that time, the design was not thoughtful. The overall feeling is that this hotel is a relatively high-end hotel in the local area, which is good in all aspects, but remember to give a little more tip, otherwise you can just shake your face and show it to you
Sigiriya Village

MAGICAL!! it's a pity that we had just 1 night to spend in this resort.... it's a place to detox, disconnect, seek within and go on a soul searching journey to connect within yourself! The entire energy of this place is pure! From the way we were greeted with the temple flowers as we were walked down to our little cottage to the natural fragrance in the room with the fresh flowers decorated in all corners of the room, the bed and the washroom.... everything was charming. Wifi was only in the lounge area/common...so you could not stay cooped up in your place all day...n if you happen to go in Jan/Feb, that's just great coz it will get a little pleasantly chilly at late evenings ...n just breathing in that fresh clean air was amazing! The buffet spread includes live cooking counter and is quite varied...not exceptionally varied for vegetarians but overall a good spread. I would love to go back n just be there a few days n slack in the beauty in that still and clear clean quiet. There is also an ayurvedic centre within the premises for those interested.... I would suggest, it's worth a try and the prices are pretty good too.
Sigiriya King's Resort

Wow, where do I start? Fortunately, our dear neighbours back in Melbourne are longtime friends of the owners, Kalika and Preethika and this is how we came across Sigiriya Kings Resort. After also checking other guests reviews, we knew this was the place to stay whilst visiting Sigiriya. From the time we arrived we felt and were treated like family. Yes we had a link to the resort, however you could soon see that the treatment we received is what all guests experience. We were given the best advice on what to do whilst spending 3 nights there. The rooms are positioned, looking at the two rocks you can climb and the resort is so remote you feel like there is nothing else around, except for the tremendous range of wildlife. From walking around the grounds to climbing the rocks there is plenty to do and once back at the resort you can simply relax and absorb the surrounds. The staff at the resort deliver what I would say is the best service I’ve received whilst travelling the world. This is due to the fact they love what they’re doing. You can see it in the way they go about there day. The food at the restaurant is amazing from Sri Lankan cuisine to Western. Well done to Kalika and Preethika and your amazing staff for an experience we will cherish forever. Regards Scott, Kirsty, George and Zac.
Seerock the King's Domain

We chose to stay at Seerock for 2 nights when we went to Sigiriya. Sigiriya and Thoppigala is about a 20-minute drive from here. The staff members are super friendly and polite. The food was delicious (we had all three meals). Rooms are really spacious, clean, and tidy. We booked 2 rooms (Gajaba and Harindra) for 4 of us. One room comes with a jacuzzi, and the other one had a plunge pool. In the morning, you can hear peacocks 🦚 calling. The restaurant and the bar are on the upper floor. You can see the upper part of the Sigiriya and Thoppigala rocks from the restaurant. The pool was clean and spacious. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves to stay close to nature.

The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There was a nice backyard as well. The hotel was beautiful, with a really good view to the Lion Rock. The swimming pool was cool. The food was tasty and with a great variaty (with western and local options). There was live music every night. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
