Once I was late for the Botswana Chobe day tour (they had told me it started at 8, when it really started at 7) so I could not pay that morning and then they hounded me to pay in Botswana (at an inflated exchange rate) instead of waiting for my return to pay in USD which I had readily available in my room. That left quite a sour taste in my mouth."
