"I will start with the positives. Great location, free parking, breakfast included. Value for money, not that much. £145 a night for an average hotel, reception located on the 1st floor, a little strange. Room, approximately ok, not very clean. A lot of stains on walls, mattress not great. Annoyingly, there was a sofa bed in the room, that was extended, although the booking was made for 2 people, king size bed, the sofa took all the space in the room with no access to window curtains. Why was it extended I don’t know Breakfast, reasonable, and team looked like they didn’t want to be there. Overall one of the least value for money hotel I’ve stayed at, great location, poor cleaning, needs a refurb"

"I am rather torn on how best to describe my stay at this hotel, which was for two months as i was on business in the area, the reason being that the hotel is extremely tired and in desperate need of a make over, its the hotel team of Cat, Kay,Beany and Lauren who hold it all together with their friendly attitude, their willingness to sort out the odd issues, their very welcoming smiles when you are there. Im told that it is having a refit very soon, so if that happens then it really will be a great place to stay, rather than just ok."

"Arrived at the hotel, to be met by a lovely young helpful member of staff called Reuben. He told us everything we needed to know. We also had dinner, Reuben served us again. Food was lovely. Bed was lovely and comfortable and the English breakfast was excellent. Lovely hotel, would definitely stay again."
