Great location right next to the metro station. There were plenty of restaurants and convenience shops around. It was easy to get to the usual touristy places by foot. We had a suite and it was more like an apartment - living, dining, kitchen and bathroom. The furniture looked a bit old and tired but it's ok if you don't plan to spend much time in the room. There are some drinks and vending machines at the lobby if you need something late night but can't be bothered to walk to the shops. The check in was smooth albeit lacking in enthusiasm. We didn't hear much noise at night primarily because the windows were facing another building. Overall, a nice stay.

I booked this hotel at the last minute for a short trip to Brussels for an event.I arrived at night time so it took a while to get my bearings from De Bruckere metro station. I arrived tired and hungry so once I checked in,I got a quick shower to freshen up. Booked a single room (bed was slightly bigger than a single). Okay size for the time I was there. It had a patio door so could go outside if you smoke. Bathroom small but for what I needed perfect. There was even a hairdryer which was needed as my trousers had been washed before ai left home and were a bit damp and also for drying hair on the Sunday morning. A safe was in the room and a colour TV with a desk and chair. Foodwise,the information in the hotel booklet in the room needs to be updated as it stated breakfast was on the 7th floor. It wasn't it was on the ground floor then you had to go down a couple of lots of stairs so bear this in mind if wanting to eat breakfast in the hotel especially if disabled or you have mobility issues.Breakfast was scrambled egg,bacon,mushrooms,baked beans if you wanted a hot option. There was also a waffle machine,toast,cereals,yogurt,fruit and pastries with water,fruit juice and two hot drinks makers for tea,coggee and hot chocolate. Food was ok for setting me up for the rest of the day. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby selling a variety of different cuisines however the friterie a few doors up seemed to always be busy. Location wise about 6 minutes walk to the Grand Place and about 8-10 minutes to the Mannequin Pis. In the other direction about the same to the Place de Monnaie which has lots of shops like Uniqlo,Foot Locket,Primark,Decathlon etc. There is a Dunkin Donuts however there is only seating on the upstairs level and there is no lift. Found using the Beurs metro either no 4 or 10 useful for if getting the Eurostar from Brussels. Staff helpful as was able to leave my bags in the left luggage room whilst sightseeing on last day and helped with directions to get to South-Midi station. Only complaints if you can call them that are,lack of kettle in room for making a tea or coffee (much needed after a long journey),decoration in room needs a refresh as paint work chipped and looks like it has seen better days same with corridors away from hotel lobby.

Fridge in the room is better. Service was excellent. Food was quite good. Maybe you can give tee bags in the room for the tee-lovers every day, but it is not important. We were very satisfied. 

Perfect location to explore both new and old Brussels. Comfy if rustic rooms in a beautiful old building. Great breakfast. I’d stay there again.

Perfect location to most attractions ~ in the middle of the Grand Place! (Approx 7mins walk from Brussels Centraal station). Stayed over for inky one night. The staff at the counter was friendly and caring. Even reminded me to be wary of pick-pockets. The room was very clean with decent sized. Bathroom comes with tub. Right at the lobby there was this cafe where it seems popular. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try it. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The manager/reception is very kind and accommodating. We didn’t get the room with the Grand Place view as you have to request for it as you book but definitely a great stay. Almost near to every attractions and a safe place to stay.

Stayed at this hotel for the second time and the service was very good. There are no vacancies due to early arrival at the hotel. The hotel adjusted in time and arranged to move in without letting me wait too long. There is also a waiter who can speak Chinese, which is very convenient. Not far from the city center and convenient transportation. The breakfast is also good. The room facilities are complete, as well as intimate gifts and greeting cards. Stay here next time.

I really feel good and love staying at Novotel Grand Place,Brussels. Belgium was the first stop on my trip this time. The warm welcome from the Novotel staff made me feel safe and happy. The room was clean and comfortable—though not very big for the four of us, it was still spacious and well-arranged, with the added bonus of a bathtub. Breakfast was great, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a ‘Halal Food’ section, which made it easier for us as Muslims to enjoy the meal. A recommended hotel—I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 separate nights, the first night room is a very splendid decoration, one little comment is we live on the 1st floor which is next to the passerby road and there was construction work early in the morning which was quite noisy. Yet, other than that, overall it was great. We came back again after visiting Bruges and this time we were arrange on the zero floor at first (then changes to the 3rd floor as the air conditioning wasn’t work well), both 2 rooms were much quieter and the hotel manager is very helpful too

U just need 15 minutes to get to the city center and there is a metro station 2 min away from the hotel. Their rooms are clean but very noisy. I hear everyone that passes through the floor and everyone who was on the floor above me. That interrupted my sleep.
