The room is decent for a city hotel, catering more towards business travellers. The hotel is conveniently located, a 30-minute walk to Ortigia's island city but less than 5 minutes from the Archaeological Park of Neapolis. Getting to Ortigia is easy via a quick ride on the red bus costing just €1.50, payable to the driver. The reception is notably friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, offering a brilliant variety of food and drinks. Additionally, there is a large supermarket around the corner of the hotel. Parking is free.

The room was very large, the bed was very spacious.
The room is large but it lacks a shower rather than a bathroom.
The sea view, very beautiful.
The breakfast is very nice and complete.
I am a gentle staff because 50% of them are sympathetic and the other half to be reviewed.
Hotel is chic ultra chic
Along the town of small bemoles.
The swimming pool is closed at 19H too early.
Wi-Fi works very well

This Caportigia Boutique is not bad. It is also the most expensive hotel booked on this route. It has a sense of design, good quality of objects, and good service. The black doorman was very hardworking, and the breakfast was rich, not very cost-effective. High, but also worth the price. Probably because the hotel is a remodeled old building, the storey height is very high, plus the top decoration, it feels like a palace...hehe, overall it feels good. In addition, the location of the hotel is very good. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the old city after stopping the car, and it takes only a few minutes to drive to the Ruins Park.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to both Syracusa and Otigia. We drove from Catania airport to the hotel, which took around an hour. Even using Sat nav, it was extremely difficult to locate! The hotel is located in a residential area with its car park with almost no places locally to eat or drink. However we did find an extremely Japanese restaurant on our last day. The room we had was very clean and breakfast was also very good. The hotel has almost no atmosphere in the evenings but an honest bar.

Good location, breakfast is not the worst but without madness, you speak English at the reception, comfortable bed.
The minus is humidity and it seems to be order but not to the end - but I noticed that this is the norm in Sicily.
I recommend it at this price.

On Christmas Eve, influenced by the famous American travel writer Rick Steves, we arrived at Ortea. Ortea is one of the most worth staying places in Sicily. The scenery is beautiful, clean and tidy. Many of the Sicilian seafood restaurants are full of small islands. Ortea Luxury Palace( Horta Luxury Hotel) is well-deserved, the location and facilities are first-class, the hotel staff is also good, warm and generous, responsive, and the impression is excellent.

Our stay here was nothing short of excellent! From the comfortable bed, the spa slippers provided, to the mocha pot and fridge, the room was a refuge after exploring Syracuse all day! A great selection of restaurants within a short radius along with a small supermarket. We walked everywhere from the Hotel, day or night. Thank you for a great 6 nights. Shelley and Tom

L'hotel è molto bello, moderno, in zona tranquilla e silenziosa, con piscina esterna e interna (presente idromassaggio e centro benessere) e palestra.

Outstanding
I start from the outer spaces, say little simple but impact, so green and outer furniture unfair. As friends, a wellness path was given with private spa, for the first time I didn't feel so well, a environment to stick and relax. I also congratulate Paul on massage, very professional, kind and sympathetic. We will certainly return.
First of all I can honestly say that the staff is extraordinary. We are experienced travelers, and it is rare to encounter a staff so professional, warm, helpful …. These people went out of their way for us daily. Sabrina, Denise, Magby in the restaurant truly enjoy what they do and I can’t say enough about all of them. They made a huge difference in our stay. Second, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Located in two side by side Baroque buildings, exquisitely maintained with very comfortable rooms and extensive public spaces that were gorgeously furnished. We loved it.
GGuest UserWe had a great stay at Nostos Apartments. Large high ceiling room with balcony. Coffee and kettle, for the mornings with comp tea or coffee. Mini bar with water. Comfortable bed and pillows. Above all the best location to discover all the attractions of Siracusa by foot. Blocks away from Ortigia's quaint streets, bars and restaurants. Mario was great at checking us in and out and making sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend staying here
We only stayed at Hotel Palazzo Cavalieri on a whim after arriving in Ortigia a day ahead of schedule. We are so glad that we did. The hotel is wonderful. There’s no onsite parking so we dropped off our suitcases and parked in the nearby public carpark (100 yards away) then returned to check in. The receptionist was exceptional being polite and professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Our room was split-level with the bedroom downstairs and the newly-modelled bathroom up an internal flight of stairs. There was even a small spare bed on the bathroom landing. Despite being on a busy road the room was quiet and we got a great night’s sleep. The hotel is very close to the bridge to Ortigia (200 yards) and being outside the island offers very reasonable rates in comparison to hotels on the island.
HHAO4 star hotel in great location
500 meters south to Ortigia Island
2km to the north to reach the archaeological site park
Rich variety of breakfast
There is free parking on the side of the road at the entrance. There is an enthusiastic uncle in the shop opposite to tell me how to park better
The roadside room is noisy due to the sweeping work in the early morning, but the balcony is great. There are gains and losses, right?
We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Piccolo Hotel Casa Mia during our visit to Siracusa. Let me share my delightful experience with you! Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is strategically situated just some 300m back from the main island of Siracusa. There are an abundance of small cafes, restaurants within a short distance of the Hotel. Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Hotel has so much history, an interesting layout with the reception on the next level, once you know where your room is you get to know the hotel. Rooms: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The room was a good size, clean, neat tidy with all the normal amenity 👍👍 there was no safe in the room so we just carried all important items with us on our day trips. Verdict: For location, Value for Money and Service I would stay there again on the next visit to Siracusa.
AAlastaiar pWe stayed during a TUI tour of Sicily and this was evidently chosen because it was very cheap. There was another TUI tour group staying on the same night, so it was clearly catering for this market. The Hotel - it was dated and the rooms were in a terrible state, with furniture broken, an unpleasant smell and the bathroom flooded with water after using the shower. The Staff - rude and unhelpful, in particular on reception. I note that they say English is a language that they cater for, but they refused to make any effort to communicate in it at all. The Food - awful, unless you think that a spoon of risotto, a mackerel fillet, spoon of iceburg lettuce and slice of watermelon makes an acceptable meal. That's the problem with an inclusive package i guess. Dreadful hotel to steer well clear of. I am surprised that TUI are using it - they must have a lot of negative feedback.
GGuest UserI spent a week at Hotel Como, which is now one of my favourite hotels ever. It is opposite the train station, and round the corner from the bus station. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection was perfect for me - fresh croissants, bread, fruit juice, and coffee. I enjoyed the stroll along Corso Umberto to get to Ortigia, which is the main bustling crowded historical island. I knew it was a popular destination, but even so I was a bit surprised at the huge number of tourists! However, it's possible to amble along side streets and find some quiet areas. Grazie, Giuseppe, and everyone else whose names I didn't get, for the warm and friendly welcome.
