Troulos Bay Hotel

We love to come here in a evening for a meal the food is very delicious and lots of choices we tend to get a few starters to share then we can enjoy a few different dishes the staff work extremely hard and long shifts but are very friendly we love the setting in an evening watching the sun go down and it’s very peaceful

We had been looking forward to our holiday. We’d eaten at the hotel on a previous visit to Skiathos and had a lovely meal. The position of the hotel is perfect in front of the beach with lovely sea views. We arrived late evening, the room was ground floor with a sea view. There was no water in the fridge or a kettle or cups. The room was cold and there wasn’t a remote for the aircon to give a little heat. We had to ask for a kettle and cups and bought some water. We spent a terrible night as the two single beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The next morning we politely asked if we could move as the beds were so uncomfortable. This was met with ‘not possible’ despite the hotel being half full if that. In the end they changed one of the mattress. It was covered in mould however the lady at reception said that it was things children had spilled on it. My wife ended up putting my duvet and blanket under the bottom sheet. After a week we moved to another hotel at our own expense. The back of the hotel and only access was a building site as the access road was being laid which meant that everyone had to tramp through cement powder to get to the main road. The breakfasts were pitiful. I’ve not experienced such a poor choice of items ever in all my visits to Greece. The reception staff a man and a woman were most unhelpful and seemed to take our complaints personally. They could do with some customer service training! The hotel needs upgrading. The cleaner and the restaurant staff were lovely and the food in the restaurant was lovely. This isn’t a cheap holiday and I think they are relying on its position to the detriment of everything else.

Lovely friendly staff. Extremely clean and well kept. top quality food. Relaxing and great views. Fish in the sea a joy to watch and swans on the beach! Hotel offers free air con, safe, and small fridge. Also beach towels. Nice added extras elevate this place.

We were not staying in the hotel however we had evening meals and lunch there. The staff were absolutely lovely and the food excellent. Great prices too! It's situation right on the beach is ideal if you're a beach lover as Troulos beach is very nice.

We did not stay here but visited for dinner whilst staying in Troulos. Service was ok. I had the 'frozen' whole lobster spaghetti at €33.00 which was quite frankly awful. Bland to taste with no seasoning whatsoever. My wife had the lamb and lemon sauce which had no lemon taste at all. No vegetables were served with her dish. It had also been left under a hot lamp due to the dried out sauce around the edges of her plate when served. Not great won't be back.

Good lokation but no atmosphere at all, only the lady at the reception was Nice and gave you a smile. Poolbar closed at 7 o’clock, the beer served in cafe glasses, never seen tha before. Good taverne 40 meters away on the Beach with good service, and mythos glasses 😉🍺
