Eros Iros Portside Stays - Skiathos

Spartan and essential for staying according to the lifestyle of this type of Greek island. It is a studio and not a 4* hotel. The management is certainly fantastic: both the father and son are helpful and very friendly. The father provided us with transfers to and from the airport even though the flights were not at very pleasant times. He then recommended a rental and several restaurants where, I must say, we had a great time. The location is also really convenient. In the center, a stone's throw from everything: roads, supermarket, greengrocer, port for excursions and the seafront for various restaurants and taverns. There are lots of stairs to climb but gentlemen... if you don't want to climb stairs, don't choose Skiatos or in any case don't choose to stay in the center. We had a room without a balcony. Nothing to say about the cleanliness, size of the room and the size and comfort of the bed. We also had a problem with a light in the bathroom which was resolved promptly while we were at the beach. Good wifi even if with blocks towards some sites. Perfectly working air conditioner (which only turns on with the windows closed!!). Quite large fridge with freezer compartment (to be defrosted!!), useful for the tiles to be used with the cool bag for the beach. Lots of sockets and an additional clothes horse that can be used (to be placed in the middle of the room, however). Really old and small TV; we also couldn't turn it on, but it wasn't our priority... otherwise we would have asked and the manager would certainly have helped us. A bedside table was missing due to lack of space. The clothes horse outside the bathroom window no longer had wires but only the main structure to hang towels and costumes on, plus it had very few clothes pegs. The kettle mentioned in the room description was missing, the wardrobe a bit small and with only 4 hangers available. Small bathroom, obviously without a bidet, and equipped only with classic soaps and a small bottle of shower shampoo. Small support shelf and in the shower it is missing. No hairdryer (not mentioned in fact)
