We arrived Friday afternoon about 2:30 for a wedding the following day. Check in was from 3pm. Ruby was in the bar area and as we looked lost before entering she came out to greet us. What an asset Ruby is, she was so helpful when we were trying to arrange for the key for guests who would be arriving the following day but well before checkin and not coming back to The Coach House until later in the evening. We went to our room to unpack and were immediately impressed by the tea and coffee facilities in the room plus more teas, coffees, milk and toiletries on the landing if you ran out. There was plenty of storage space, about 6 coat hangers in the wardrobe and plenty of drawers. There was a bath with overhead shower, very large shower head and the taps for the bath and washbasin were waterfall ones. 2 bath towels and a hand towel which was plenty for two people for a weekend. The double bed was so comfortable. Another added benefit was usb sockets at either side of the bed and I think there were 4 double sockets. There were only two downsides, the stairs were steep and no railings at the entrance to Ackroyds and the other was breakfast was served at the curios fox across the road, vouchers were included. Would I stay here again? Most definitely yes!
