Service is definitely not 5 star hotel. A hotel worker accidentally took my t shirt and instead of just brining it back started arguing.
Food is expensive and not that great. My advice is just use room service for breakfast, it will be cheaper and more options compare to their buffet menu.

Fabulous resort, we were kindly upgraded to a casita and it was stunning - maid service twice a day, in the evening our ice bucket would be filled . Our rooms were clean and spacious with quality fittings and beautiful balconies where we could sit and listen to the sounds of the jungle.
The staff, without exception were friendly and helpful. Valet parking easy and efficient, and they would give us water and towels if going out for the day. On return, they would say “ welcome home “! Food delicious, especially the breakfast buffet ( Christina’s omelettes are second to none !) which was extensive and set us up for the day.
The beach was gorgeous , pools clean and the areas well maintained and so pretty.
We didn’t want to leave.
