Arrive in Songpan on the afternoon of October 27 and stay at SILKROAD HOTEL. It was cold in Songpan, and I heard that Prime Minister Keqiang had passed away due to illness, and I felt heavy. When I checked in at the hotel, the front desk manager Zhou was very enthusiastic. He arranged a room and upgraded it to a deluxe standard room. Due to the cold weather, it was also equipped with an electric heater. Thank you very much. The room's sanitary ware and bedding are clean, and parking is convenient. This is our second time staying at this hotel. Worth choosing.

Floor heating didn't seem to be there unlike what is advertised online, hair dryer didn't work, beds were a bit hard for our personal taste but nice pillow. Owner drove us to the cablecar station but didn't drive safely in our opinion, he seemed in a hurry.

GGuest UserExcellent service had been given by in taking care of customers’ needs. Mr Lee helped us to book taxi for our early morning train. The front desk receptionist was friendly and helpful when we needed local adaptor for my mobile phone charging. A Welcome ******* Tea was given to us free at the lounge. Free snack pack which included panchos was provided free for our tour at Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. All these thoughtful things had made our stay with extra enjoyment.

The hotel is near huanglongjiuzhai station (about 5 minutes drive) so it was easy to travel.
The booking includes free pick up from the train station but I ended up taking a private car to the hotel so instead they sent me to the train station for free.
It is in their fine print but do note the room doesn't have air-con (not sure if it's the same for all rooms) though it wasn't a problem for me.
Don't expect too much from the gym. It's really a small room with some fitness equipment.
