The Shin Furano Prince Hotel is an excellent hotel in Furano with plenty of amenities and activities you can indulge in. Nearby the hotel are some attractions like the Ropeway, Ningle Terrace etc. Rooms are clean and large - definitely much larger than Tokyo or even Sapporo. Their parking is free of charge and there are ample lots to accommodate. The hotel is surrounded by nature and there are 2 convenience stores located within 2km of the hotel. The shop at the entrance to Ningle Terrace sells locally produced products and is worth a visit. In the evening, the NIngle Terrace is lighted and even has a bar - Soh's Bar which is worth a visit.

Loved this hotel as it has a great view of the mountains and the ningle terrace (featuring their cottage industry) is just outside the hotel.
Very friendly staff and nice onsen facilities. Must book with breakfast as the hotel is quite far from the city. Preferably to drive so that it is more accessible to the shopping and dining areas.

This hotel is quite of many years but surprisingly very clean, neat & tidy. Very well maintain.
I chose a moutain view and it was stunning unblock sunrise view at 5am +-.
The whole mountain stretch are the famous mountains which of central of the whole Hokkaido.
People are very nice but English language not as expected. About only half of their people speak well.
As it's end season hence we only left with 1 slope for ski. We only able to dine in Shin Prince Hotel while staying. Quite pricy within the hotel. But food are super fresh & tasty. They maintain small serving to uphold the freshness. I love the mini ramen during the buffet dinner very much. The spread might seem minimal, but very fulfilling.
The Ningle Terrace is such an iconic, romantic & amazing place especially for photos & video. Never did I realise that one of my friend's wedding photos were taken over there. Very memorable.

Cozy place and good for ski-in-ski-out!
However, the location was a bit far if you are not plan to drive.

The hotel is ski resort with some spot, crowded.
The room is a bit old but comfortable, pillows is too soft for me. The onsen is additional fee, 800¥.
The breakfast is great, there are ikura, breads and speaking wine!

Service: so far so good.
Location: ski in ski out hotel. Location was good
Buffet restaurant was good. Don’t bother to pay and try other restaurants apart from buffet!

The hotel is very very well situated right at the foot of the ski resort pistes. Ski in ski out (if there is enough snow). It is however quite dated in its design and the rooms come with only the basic essential facilities (by no means luxurious). It is clean and well maintained though. Service wise, check in took some time even in low season. Not all staff understand english, even those at front desk. The restaurants and breakfast is good. Very wide selection. We also enjoyed the onsen, however it would have been better with the view of nature. Ningle Terrace is beautiful at night in the winter season! All in all a good trip. The convenience and food makes up for everything.
