During a recent family vacation (6 age range 10yrs to 45yrs) to Sorrento we stayed in Magi House for 3 nights - this is in an amazing location close to everything you should need on your hols - rooms were spotlessly clean - reception is manned until 8.30 pm - no bar facilities etc just bed & breakfast - very suitable if only looking for accommodation - rooms were lovely, beds were hard ! And it could be a bit noisy (from street or other guests coming and going during the night) which would have impacted us more if our kids were younger - otherwise staff friendly, helpful too & we definitely recommend as a great place to stay if visiting Sorrento on a short break if staying longer you may want accommodation with more facilities.

Well I find it very easy to write a review about this fantastic hotel Magi House. My wife & I have stayed a number of times whenever we are in Sorrento & the experience has always been nothing short of first class. The staff are so friendly & caring & have a genuine empathy for their guests which I think is due to the culture of the business. The establishment is always very clean, the rooms are fresh & modern, the service is terrific in every aspect, the lovely breakfast makes for a great start to the day in beautiful Sorrento by which you walk outside straight into the heart of the city. The owner Mariano is a lovely man,(say hi if you get a chance), his passion & dedication to the business is amazing & his goal always seems to be the perfect guest experience which of course sets the standard & culture through to his lovely team of people. We had a great two night stay at the Magi house. Luca was so awesome and helpful. He was super friendly and had such an adorable laugh. We stayed in the Mediterranean suite, it’s a two story full apartment with a kitchenette and. Huge bathroom for European standards. The bed upstairs was a bit hard for us but some may prefer that. Breakfast was included and was great with awesome service as well. You are steps away from all the shops and restaurants and very close to the lift or stairs down to the beach.

Ideal location in the heart of Sorrento's old town. Restaurants and shops on the doorstep and a 2-minute walk to the path and lift down to the beach clubs. Our room - the penthouse - was a little smaller than the website's photos suggested. But it was beautifully presented (bottle of Prosecco included) and spotlessly clean. The beds were short, but comfortable. The private terrace was a good size and a suntrap. Breakfast was a treat. Huge selection of fruit, pastries, cheese and ham, freshly squeezed orange juice, and eggs cooked to order. All eaten on the roof terrace with a view over the town to Vesuvius. The staff were excellent - uniformly friendly and helpful. Luca and Laura were especially impressive. The air conditioning unit in our room broke on the second night of our stay. A new unit was installed within 36 hours and we were transferred to a suite in the meantime. Without fuss, we received appropriate compensation for the inconvenience. At short notice, the hotel also booked a boat trip to Capri for us. It turned out to be the highlight of a wonderful week in Sorrento.

Lovely place right in the center of the historical zone of Sorrento. Smiling staff, clean room and good breakfast. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurants at the Marina Grande.. Or just walk 1 min. than go down by lift to the beaches in Marina Piccola. Or take a ferry to Capri island .

Great location. You walk out, and you’re in the midst of old Sorrento. They are apartment suites. We had the Vesuvius. There’s no elevator, but they can help you with your bags. Vesuvius was on the first floor. Comes with a queen bed and two twin sofa beds. They were comfortable. Even though it was two stories, it felt smallish. The bathroom is small. There is no shower door, so the water does spill out. We didn’t get conditioner, but they dropped off a big bottle of conditioner when we requested it. Breakfast was excellent, and certain items were made to order. There is no pool. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful - shout out to Laura and Luca. Also, the way the hotel is, you don’t get dropped off in front of it since it’s located on a small but popular pedestrian street.

We stayed at Magi House for a week for our honeymoon and we couldn’t recommend it more. First of all the location is perfect for absolutely everything, with loads of nice restaurants and bars, and the beach/port only a minutes walk away. Upon arrival we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for celebrating our wedding, which was a lovely gesture from the team. The room was also spotless and the cleaners were in every day, which was great! The team also couldn’t have been more helpful, if it came to picking and booking restaurants, they definitely know the places to eat, so please do take their recommendations! We wouldn’t think twice about staying here again, and already contemplating booking up for next year! Thank you for having us.

Magi House is the perfect place to stay in Sorrento. The staff Rosana, Luca and Laura communicated with us before we arrived, organising tours for us and making sure we had everything we needed. The ladies serving breakfast on the roof terrace were lovely, remembering our favourites each morning. The building is old and the rooms all individual, we had a double bed on a mezzanine with a sofa bed and kitchenette and bathroom, cozy but perfect for four of us. The location is on a street with lots of shops and restaurants and just 2 minutes walk to the steps to the beach clubs and harbour where ferries come in. We spent 7 days there and went on day trips on the train which is 10 minutes walk away. We loved it and you will too!
