"We really enjoyed our stay at Agape Suites! The host was incredible and was super helpful with recommendations and answering any questions. The property is within close proximity (short car ride) to the Gros Piton Hike, Sugar Beach, and the sulphur springs. We were within walking distance of Soufrière and the botanical gardens. The property was impeccably clean, and it was a really comfortable stay! ☺️"

"Loved every minute of our 5 night stay, close to town in a quiet area, even though a road runs past. It's a 5 minute walk into town and 2 minutes to a great beach. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Sylvia the housekeeper was brilliant, "

Diamondview

Diamondview

📍 Diamond Rd, Soufriere
★★★★ 9.8 (14 reviews)

"Spent 10 days at Diamondview with my partner and teenage daughter and we all had a nice, relaxing time. The price was great as well. The accommodation was bright and had everything we needed, i.e. shower, A/C, cooking facilities, a washing machine for guests, fridge, WIFI, TV with access to Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube etc. and a safe for valuables. The property is in a quiet and safe area, surrounded by lush greenery and has great views of the surrounding hills. It's approximately a 10 minute walk into town, where you will find bars and restaurants. There's also the nearby Diamond Botanical Gardens and Massey supermarket. Soufriere Beach is about a 15 minute walk away and the Sulphur Springs and Tet Paul Nature Trail are easily reachable. The owner was great and nothing was too much trouble. He has extensive knowledge of the area and was able to recommend excursions, attractions, places to eat, car hire and taxis. If you’re lucky, you may get to sample his organic honey from his personal beehive."

The Downtown Hotel

The Downtown Hotel

📍 Bridge St, Soufriere
★★★ 6.6 (12 reviews)

"I kicked this hotel for the location alone. There are many nehative reviews but I took the chance. The hotel is aged but it was spotless when I was there. The big 'hiccup' was that they advertise 18 rooms spread over 4 floors. The truth is all the rooms are on the 4th floor and there is NO ELEVATOR. If you have mobility issues, this is not the hotel for you! Other than that, everything worked, staff were amazingly friendly (and helpful) and I would not hesitate to return. After hours, there is security for the hotel and room access is restricted to main stairs only"

"This was our second visit to Jade Mountain and it surpassed the first. We received an upgrade to a Galaxy Suite. Look to the left you have the Pitons, look to the right you have the beach and sunset. It was divine. It was nice to see that the resort invested in upgrades throughout the year to the beach and gym to increase the beauty and functionality of the spaces. We ate dinners at the Jade Mountain Club and lunches down by the beach. All meals were divine. Although the architecture and environment are stunning, it is the people who make this resort so special. We cannot thank our Major Domos Ain and Filliner enough for attending our every need before we could ask. They even decorated the room with flowers and a bottle of wine and arranged shuttles to the beach. We did the Chef on Wheels in room dining experience with Chef Elijah who is not only an incredible chef but one of the nicest humans you will meet. He made a five course meal in our sanctuary and walked us through each step, although I am sure we will never be able to replicate the dishes. The beach attendants set up our hut and the beach staff brought cool towels, fresh fruit, fun drinks, and food. The housekeeping staff and landscaping crew work constantly to enhance your stay. I did yoga with Nelson each morning overlooking the Pitons. His classes are for all levels and such a treat to take a minute to breathe, slow down, and stretch. Don't hesitate to book a stay, you will not regret it."

Diamondview ★★★★
"This was my 2nd time staying at Diamond View. I like it for its tranquility and beautiful scenery, and very easy distance from Diamond Botanical Gardens, Waterfalls, Sulphur Springs, Soufriere Beach, Bus Station, etc. Lush garden with an abundance of fruit that guests are free to pick, which is nice. & a hammock! Rooms are spacious and comfortable, showers work well. TV has Amazon firestick. Most importantly for me - rooms have air conditioning + fan; this means you can easily keep cool indoors, and aren't troubled at all by mosquitoes and other bugs since they hate fans and aircon. There's comfortable seating outside apartment too, good for a leisurely outdoor breakfast Gates are kept locked and there are security cameras all around property, + key safes. But to be honest area is safe and quiet, and as a solo woman I had no problems moving around at all. There is a bar 5 minutes walk away where you can have a drink and buy good local food. Convenience store within petrol station is also walking distance. Soufriere Beach is beautiful and around 15/20 minutes walk. Host is friendly and helpful, and only a WhatsApp message away, or will come to see you within minutes if you prefer. This is really useful for questions about getting around, local shops and sights, excursions, booking taxis. Really enjoyed my stay at Diamond View. Peace and comfort in lovely surroundings. Gorgeous view over the hills and valleys from upstairs verandah too. I'll be back for a 3rd visit. "

The Downtown Hotel ★★★
"Our room (family room) was very large, with separate living room, and two bathrooms with showers. Balconies and a nice view of the mountains. First two floors of the building are a mall and offices, with hotel upstairs - our room was up four flights, and with no elevator, that meant significant effort getting our luggage up there (and back down when we checked out). There is no dedicated parking. Finding on-street parking for our rental car was not hard, but actually getting into the parking spots, with very narrow streets and sharp ditches between road and sidewalk, was sometimes challenging. Staff were very nice, very helpful. Note that there is no daily servicing of the rooms, so if you need something you go to the desk and ask for it. Desk is staffed during the day but they are sometimes out for hours at a time, so you cannot predict when someone will be there; night guard is sometimes able to get things also, but doesn't always know where they keep everything. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked very well, and there were just enough power outlets - I wish they had a few more, but there were enough. Wifi, though free and without a login portal, was very bad quality, often slow or cutting out for a minute or two at a time. Mini-fridge was broken when we got there, they replaced it promptly when we asked. Second mini-fridge worked, but was quite small (so was the first) and weak: Things didn't really get that cold, and took a long time to get cold. Small freezer compartment could not freeze water, even when set to maximum. Sinks are small and very shallow, so you can't even fill a standard 16oz bottle with water - you cannot fit its mouth under the faucet. We used a smaller water bottle we bought, to refill other bottles. No microwave, but there is an electric hot water kettle."
