2-Star Hotels in South Jordan

The hotel was very pleasant, clean and modern. I have one minor suggestion regarding the free breakfast: There was no half-and-half for the coffee, which surprised me. There was almond milk, soy milk and 3 flavors of non-dairy creamer, but no half-and-half. I always assumed that the majority of coffee drinkers enjoy half-and-half in their coffee. I've never stayed at a SpringHill Suites before and perhaps it's a policy, but it seems strange to me. Luckily there was a Starbucks nearby where I was able to get a coffee with half-and-half. Again, it's a small thing, but important to a lot of coffee drinkers.

The location is good and the facilities are clean and the price is not great, but breakfast is also available.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS: 1) Wanted to use dryer near pool - couldn't do so. Dryers wouldn't take cash or a credit-debit-card. Only scanning-a-square-item. I paid $128 for a 32-GB-Motorola-phone 1 1/2 years ago, but it doesn't activate by scanning-square-item. Have subcontractor add cash-payment, & debit-credit-card-items. 2) Faucet-handle-for-sink not firmly attached. It spins all the way around. Room 117. 3) Humidity built up in room. Actually, a partial-compliment - your window seals well. Advise guests, that if humidity builds up in a room, open the outside-window about 2 1/2 inches for an hour. I have stayed here numerous times and the staff is always friendly, the hotel is always clean and comfortable, and I will easily recommend this hotel to business and leisure travelers alike. Convenient location between downtown and South Salt Lake.

Chose Embassy Suites based on the positive reviews and our recent experience staying at several of the Hilton hotel brands. The Hilton App is very user friendly. It is great to be able to check in on the app, choose our room location, and have our phone become the digital room key. Breakfast at the Embassy Suite brand offers a cooked- to-order omelette station which is far superior to most of the typical hotel breakfasts. Cleanliness of the room is very reliable and having a mini fridge, microwave and sink is very convenient. The evening cocktail hour is a nice perk. We would have liked to take our drinks outdoors in a plastic cup but the hotel was very strict about consuming the alcohol in the designated room for the cocktail hour. Would choose this hotel again.

Comfortable, clean, convenient to the highway. We arrived separately and staff accommodated us by checking part of the group in earlier and having a key for me when I arrived later that evening. Also having a smaller size suite with doors was helpful in not interrupting anyone’s sleep. We were given breakfast coupons which we could use in their restaurant although there are plenty of places nearby for breakfast or coffee. My only complaint is that most of these places do not offer more than 1 small cup of coffee in the morning in the room. But not a deal breaker. We would stay again.
