Perfectly sited right on the shore, a short walk to the town centre and pier. Room was clean and stocked with more than enough tea and coffee for my stay. Very big bathroom and shower, stocked with enough shampoo, hand soap and toilet paper. Fridge was a great bonus. Room very warm even in the freezing cold nights. The receptionist on duty was very welcoming and helpful. Disliked - a few dusty spots here and there but nothing major. A spoon to stir my tea could have been provided. No breakfast room at all, so you'll have to go out the hotel and eat elsewhere.

For £60 a night this is great value. There are no breakfast facilities nor any common areas or bar. The room itself was clean and it had new carpet and a new bed. Bathroom very serviceable but could have been cleaner. Very annoying fixed headboard that seems to be entirely created to knock your head when you lay down. Both me and my partner banged our heads. Would I stay again? Definitely. The host was polite, the room was very clean and warm. Parking outside was difficult but there is a car park nearby.

A friend and I stayed at this small hotel for the night whilst visiting family. We were very disappointed with the standard , initially we thought it was ok but when we actually came to sleep in the room we found hair on one of the pillows , the towels were of poor quality and the shower needed to be cleaned better. On entering the hotel stain glass windows were broken and the carpets were shabby and stained. Not somewhere I would return too unfortunately.

disgrace upon reasonable doubt my flight was delayed i emailed the hotel to advise this and say i will be 15 minutes late roughly they never opened the door when i arrived even though the light in reception was on then after 1 hour of still waiting the light went off disgrace especial after a long delayed flight the company brand seems to have issues anyway customer service and hygiene look at the reviews stay somewhere else to save your sanity there was even another gentleman also waiting terrible had to pay extra to stay and ing hotel so much better

Upon arrival the entrance and halls seemed ok but it went down hill after we got in the room, I noticed a thick layer of dust on top of the mirror mess behind bedside cabinets the shower was scummy with black mold and smelt quite bad the pillows had stains on them so had to wrap them in a towel to sleep on but me and my wife thought it was only for one night so went into Southend had a night out got back to the room to find after my wife went to the toilet there was no toilet roll either so would not recommend this place for a stay.

Very last minute booking and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely welcome. Nice bedroom and en-suite. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc and a fridge. We had just an overnight stay and it was great value and would use again. On street parking if you can find it. Places close by for dinner and breakfast.

Cosy and clean beautiful rooms. Stayed here for 3 nights. Best sleep ever had and highly recommend. No Breakfast but Toby Carvery is next door. Hot showers, Smart TV and fridge freezer as well. Will come back again and the prices of the rooms are decent

Lovely clean spacious room friendly staff in great location very good value bed was so comfortable definitely would stay again not one thing I can fault decor very high standard outdoor area at back of property reached via your room 10/10 would give more

Very pleasant stay here. Lovely staff. Esay check in and out. Clean warm and cosy. Tea and Coffee. Very reasonable rates. No breakfast but very close to all the cafes so not a problem. Will stay again Thank you
