Escaping the city's stresses, I unexpectedly stumbled upon a gem of a guesthouse. The environment is tranquil and serene, every detail thoughtfully arranged—clean, soothing, and comfortable. It lacks the coldness of commercialism, instead offering the warmth of home. The owner is friendly and attentive, making for a safe and relaxing stay. The most captivating feature is the quiet backyard, the most therapeutic little corner during my trip. Highly recommended!

The hotel is surrounded by stunning scenery, with blue skies and white clouds against pine forests and meadows, making you feel like you're staying in the Alps ⛰️. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and attentive, readily addressing our questions and needs. Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻 This RV campsite is one of the most unique in Wutai Mountain. If you're planning a trip to Dongtai, I highly recommend staying here. You can do what we did: hike for a day, starting from the campsite, passing through Dongtai Village to the summit, and then hiking back down the ridge. This requires some off-road hiking experience and stamina. Alternatively, you can ask the owner to take you to Hongmenyan for a light hike to the summit.

Checked in on May 20th. The lovely lady at the front desk gave us a complimentary room upgrade and breakfast vouchers. This is our second time staying at this hotel, and I love the name (both beautiful and grand – Meili Hao, which means beautiful and grand). The hotel is clean and hygienic, the lobby is spacious, and they offer free mini ice creams. Since we stayed for two nights, the cleaning staff always did a fantastic job. The breakfast spread isn't huge, but it caters to both Western and Chinese tastes, and everything is very clean and fresh. I usually don't write reviews, but I'm rambling on this time, mainly because the front desk staff, particularly Xiao Guo, left such a wonderful impression. She was incredibly kind and patiently answered all our questions about local attractions, offering helpful tips. Xiao Guo is very dedicated and responsible in her work, and she deserves praise! 👍 The hotel itself is so clean and tidy that I didn't even take any photos. Since I need to post a review now, I've just uploaded a picture of the rainy exterior from that night and a landscape painting behind the bed (which I just randomly snapped at the time).

The front desk staff were warm and attentive, handling check-in quickly and efficiently, and even offering helpful recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. Throughout my stay, they greeted me politely every time I encountered them, making me feel very respected. Room service was also prompt, with the room being cleaned impeccably daily and all amenities replenished. The room was cozy and comfortable, with soft, clean bedding and high-quality blankets and pillows, ensuring a good night's sleep every night. The room was well-equipped, with excellent air conditioning, a variety of TV channels, and a stable internet connection, fully meeting my needs. The bathroom had ample hot water at a consistent temperature, and the toiletries were of high quality.
