All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly during my stay which added to the experience. The hotel is truly lovely and the setting is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and the views from the rooms and bar were amazing but it’s the high level of customer service that makes me want to return and recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Wakefield.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel the staff were helpful and attentive. Very clean room with air conditioning which was needed as it was a very hot day, with tea making facilities and even biscuits as a kind gesture. Would recommend staying here and will no doubt book in again. Bar had a range of beers and a good selection of draughts as well as spirits available to choose from. There was ample parking round the back of the hotel. Just don't forget to put your vehicle registration at check in. All in all a good stay.

GGuest UserCheap and cheerful is the best way to describe this hotel. It is situated on an industrial estate. Reception is a corner of the bar. I was greeted by a friendly member of staff when I arrived. The bar area is very clean and well spaced out. However if you arrive at the weekend at night the only food available is sandwiches or pizza and kitchen closes at 8pm. The rooms are in a separate building which look like a low rise block of flats. The rooms are very clean but they are stuck in the 1970’s. Bed super comfy for me and linen pristine white as are the towels. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Though would be nice if they offered decaf tea as well as coffee. Breakfast was included in my price which was excellent. This hotel is mostly used by workers who need an overnight stay. When I went out of my room there were plenty of staff cleaning every thing on site. The signage was being wiped down. Stair hand rails being cleaned, carpark was immaculate. All in all if you are looking for a cheap stop over and don’t mind 1970’s decor this is a good place to stay.
