GGuest UserThe service attitude is very very good, and the email consultation is related to the arrival in advance, and the answer is given without details. We are not going to the ski season, many services are suspended, but the clerk gave us a lot of tips The room environment is nothing to say, minimalist style, very popular with design, wood and dark blue are the main colors, warm and atmospheric, highly recommended

NN YipThis is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included. It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel. The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options. There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise. Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us. We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese. The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel. The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves. Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway. The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.

UunsweetenedhariboI spent a pleasant end of the year in Chalet Ivy Weiss, everything was fine, the bed and meals were good, the hot springs were comfortable, my staff was also very enthusiastic, and I also helped to set the car to arrive and leave the hotel. I will stay in skiing next time.

GGuest UserWonderful ski in/ski out location. Lovely family accommodation with everything you need. Close to convenience store and restaurants. Sunday was extremely helpful and transported us to the local train station at the end of our stay. Gustav was very helpful via email but the resort was uncontactable on arrival to arrange hotel transfer from the bus drop-off (reception phone switched to after hours message). Also could not get a taxi (none available on the app) so had to walk up the hill dragging luggage. That was our only complaint.

GGuest UserThe overall experience at this hotel was quite good. The room was very clean, and the layout was well-designed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful design of the bedroom, which was enclosed with a door to ensure a very quiet environment, greatly improving the quality of sleep. The only downside was that the room had only air conditioning and no water heating, which made the air extremely dry. Even with a humidifier turned on, it didn’t help much, and my throat still felt uncomfortable at night. If they could improve the heating system or provide better humidification equipment, the experience would be even better!

GGuest UserNiseko in summer has its own distinct advantages. It's less crowded, the air is fresh and cool, and hotel rates are significantly lower. The hotel's decor is tasteful and understated, reminiscent of a city Ritz-Carlton. With fewer rooms, the service is remarkably attentive. Breakfast is a hybrid of a set menu and a small buffet spread, which was quite satisfying. We found the dinner restaurant to have a somewhat limited kitchen and offer average value for money, so we chose to dine out for our evening meals. The location is wonderfully quiet. While we had a private car, even without one, the Hilton is just across the ski slope, so transport isn't an issue. A short walk of a few minutes takes you to a ski commercial area, where a few restaurants remain open even in summer. I imagine it's quite expensive in winter, but I do wonder if Niseko's skiing truly surpasses Hemu's? A major perk, of course, is that the hotel essentially has its own dedicated ski lift, offering absolute ski-in/ski-out convenience. It's significantly smaller, quieter, and much less crowded than the Park Hyatt. However, I highly recommend taking the gondola up there at night and then walking down to experience the beautifully designed light exhibition – it's truly stunning.

MMini1222Facilities: The room is quite spacious for Japan, split over two floors. It's very new, though going downstairs to use the toilet is a bit inconvenient. As a ski hotel, it's already quite good. Breakfast was packed; if you wanted a window seat, you had to be there right when it opened or just get lucky. Eating breakfast between 8 and 9 AM meant queuing for a table, and even when there were clearly window seats available, they made me sit elsewhere. I saw that they wouldn't let me switch, which was quite frustrating. The onsen (hot spring) felt a bit dirty; compared to many other Japanese onsens, there were too many floating particles.

GGuest UserThis hotel is really great. It is in the snow field. There is breakfast every day. The focus is on the Chinese counter. The Chinese counter is really good. ⋯ We have encountered many problems and helped us solve them. Even after checking out, we have to go to another hotel and send a car to send us there. It is really good ⋯ us. The ticket that can't be booked on the Internet to return to the airport is also handled by them. 😭 In the future, the Second Valley will only come to their house. Fortunately, this trip has counter assistance.
