The resort is split into two wings: the Ocean Wing, directly on the beachfront, and the Garden Wing, surrounded by lush greenery and around 10-minute walk from the beach. Guests can freely enjoy both areas, with a complimentary shuttle service connecting the wings.
Each wing has its own swimming pools and accommodation options. The Ocean Wing features stylish rooms and sea-view villas, while the Garden Wing offers a relaxing atmosphere with access to Koh 17, the rooftop bar and dining venue with panoramic views. Dining highlights also include Écume, the beachfront restaurant, plus wellness facilities and a kids’ club.
Guests appreciate the freedom to explore both wings, easy beach access, and multiple pools. Clear separation of experiences—Ocean Wing for sea-view villas, Garden Wing for rooftop dining at Koh 17—along with thoughtful design, shuttle service, and diverse facilities make it ideal for families, couples, and leisure travelers seeking a comfortable seaside escape.
"We had a fantastic time at the Mercure. We stayed in the Garden side, which meant that we took the van or songtaew over to the Ocean side each morning for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was delicious and sitting right by the ocean was a wonderful experience. Overall, the Garden side is much more spacious and the pool much bigger. We were happy with our choice to stay there.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable; however, they are poorly designed. The sink for the bathroom is inexplicably in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. There is very little storage and not even a drying rack on the balcony for wet clothes.
My final suggestion to the hotel would be to purchase sun umbrellas for each pair of sun loungers and for each sofa bed. Having only 7 sun umbrellas for the pool and bar area obviously isn’t enough.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely visit again."
