If you are choosing a place to enjoy your holidays, getting away from crowd and enjoy peaceful moments, it’s definitely a right place for you.
Hotel staff is very nice and helpful.
Food in hotel restaurant is excellent, they offer different menu for lunch and dinner. Verify options for breakfast buffet, you will never feel bored for their food.
Hotel offers yoga class on the morning daily except Sunday. Family or solo can also start with a “ Good morning “. There is a swimming pool, small gym room, different ball games for visitors to chill.
Hotel is also connected with different Partners, no need to worry about the day trip prior arrival. They can plan everything for you including stone town visit, prison island , snorkelling.
We just enjoy our time during our stay.

Anonymous UserThe bungalow was beautiful, thoughtfully designed with local touches, and reflected the property's strong commitment to sustainable tourism. It was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay.
The resort is design-focused and exudes a tranquil, laid-back vibe. We loved the stunning beach with its crystal-clear waters and the lush greenery surrounding the property. What impressed us most was how the resort consistently maintained a high standard in every aspect of our stay.
The food was consistently excellent, with both breakfast and dinner offering a great variety of high-quality, flavourful dishes made from fresh ingredients. The service from the staff was outstanding.
The entire Zuri team delivered impeccable hospitality. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. We can't wait to return and reconnect with some of the wonderful people who made our stay so special. Highly recommended!

Ginge5Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+
There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.
There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside.
There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient.
The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage.
If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish.
The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked.
Overall though 9.5/10
I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

sixsixsix696After a safari, we spent a few days relaxing in Zanzibar, and this hotel definitely has its pros and cons.
Pros:
1. All-inclusive package. You can pretty much eat at any of the 4 restaurants and 5 bars. There's also a free gelato shop and the minibar is complimentary.
2. The food is decent. Jua Grill is highly recommended, the food there is excellent. Unfortunately, when we wanted to order lobster for a second round, it was already sold out. The Asian buffet and the à la carte options at the main restaurant are also good.
3. The ocean water is fantastic, and you can see the private island across the way.
Cons:
1. The staff's service attitude is inconsistent; some are great, while others... not so much.
2. Although the hotel has a private beach, it's a popular spot for dolphin tours. This means there are a lot of beach boys trying to sell things on the sand, which isn't ideal for introverts like me.
3. I'm not sure if it's because it's by the sea, but the bedding always seemed to have a faint smell.

Came here to relax after trekking and safari trips and the lodge is a peaceful retreat set on the northeast side of Zanzibar. Loved the surroundings and garden is so beautiful. I picked this place as it has a dive center and it did not disappoint. The team at Dive Point Zanzibar is professional and the ratio of dive instructors / masters to visitors is 1:2 which is great. I am visiting on the shoulder season as the island is heading into low season so it is relatively quiet everywhere and I get to enjoy the full service and attention :)

We were at the hotel in March 2026, 3 nights, liked clean rooms and spa-, food is beautiful, Italian, was very delicious, breakfast is good, fruit fresh, tea, coffee, everything is! On the adjacent territory there are two swimming pools, one in the spa zone- and an interesting fountain with lighting, the hosts of the hotel are attentive, kind people, always ready to help, was at home comfortable. The only one, the hotel is on the second line, the passage from the hotel to the sea has to overcome an uncomfortable stone road. Some times took the tuck-tuck and rolled from the hotel to different beaches. At night dinner at the hotel, Italian food and wine were excellent.

Ana_stasiiaThe hotel is very nice, it’s very quiet though and doesn’t seem to be very popular among travels choice here. The room was spacious, and clean, the staff were very friendly. The WiFi was great. The breakfast was good. A few options for cereals and fruit , coffee and tea as well as options for cooked meals. The location isn’t bad but also not amazing. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not the main beach, there’s a lot of seaweed but it’s only a 10 minute walk along the beach to the nicer beach area. 20 minutes of walking along the roads. Considering the price for what you get I think it’s overpriced but in all honestly so are all the other hotels on the island.

From the moment we stepped inside the reception to the time we checked out, we had the most memorable stay. The whole resort was beautifully presented, clean, luxurious and peaceful. We booked the partial sea view room and it was fabulous from all the little details inside to the private verandah outside, perfect for relaxing whilst reading a book or watching the boats go by on the sea. The infinity pool was in pristine condition, the breakfast and dinner buffet had a great selection and the Jetty restaurant was convenient for lunch too. The service all round was exceptional, everyone was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We will be recommending Essque Zalu Zanzibar to our friends and family and are looking forward to visiting again!

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms.
In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎
