"We had a wonderful stay! The view of the Cretan Sea was absolutely stunning, and our room was very clean and comfortable. The pools were beautiful and refreshing, a perfect way to relax. We had dinner at the bar on two nights and truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The location was also ideal—very close to Chania Airport and just a short trip to the Old Harbor Town. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was comfortable and well located. The residents were friendly and like-minded (not a partisan crowd). It was quiet at breakfast and the breakfast was full and tasty. The apartment was really spacious and the air conditioning was a big plus! The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare your own food. We would have enjoyed longer in the apartment. The pool is also a big plus! The service was good, the apartments are kept clean and tidy. At the pool, you can also get food/snacks and drinks from the counter, which was located in the closed courtyard of the aparthotel."

Every day super cleaned inside out, very impressed!! And all the staff always very helpful and Aristea at the bar and breakfast cooks the best cakes and biscuits and always with the biggest smile makes your day!! We definitely coming back again!!"

"My family and I visited Eliros for 1 week. Before arrival we had a great communication with Maria, the owner of the place. Eliros is a wonderfull place 10 minutes walk from the main road/beach front of Plantanias. A fantastisc view from the balcony of our room/pool area. Cleaning was very good. Maria was a perfect and lovley host and made us feel very welcome. We will recommend everybody to visit this great place. "

"We stayed at Phaedra for one week towards the end of Summer 2023, taking three generations (Grandma, ourselves and young daughter.) Nikos the owner was incredibly helpful finding us suitable rooms, even though we booked late. We booked on the basis of the amazing reviews, and we weren't disappointed! Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel feels like a peaceful oasis, even when it's full. The Phaedra is located right on the beach, so perfect for swimming in the warm sea, plus it has a lovely chemical-free pool. Special thanks to Georgia who runs the pool bar and makes you feel very welcome and at home, and of course to Nikos himself who is a fantastic host, including helping us a lot when unfortunately Grandma broke her ankle while walking in Chania town. Even with that mishap, we have hugely fond memories of our holiday and that says it all - we look forward to returning!"

"We had a lovely stay at Theo Hotel in Crete and overall it was a very positive experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help whenever needed. The hotel itself was in a great location and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the team worked hard to make guests feel comfortable throughout their stay. The only small improvements I would suggest would be slightly larger bathroom/shower spaces, as they felt a little cramped at times, and ensuring toiletries are replenished more promptly when needed. Aside from those minor points, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Theo Hotel to anyone visiting Crete. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday a wonderful one!"

"Just WOW! I cannot rave enough about how much I love this hotel! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in early June and it couldn’t have been a better start to our vacation. Everything on the property is so well thought out and detailed, the patio area is wonderful and you can’t beat being right on the beach! Breakfast each day was truly a treat and the welcome snacks and surprise bottle of sparkling wine in our room to celebrate the honeymoon was such an unexpected touch of “wow.” The only problem was we didn’t want to leave such a wonderful place! The staff is all so helpful and kind, we hope to return someday soon."

"The family-run structure is very comfortable for the beaches and services.The reception was excellent, the owner is very nice and makes you feel comfortable at any time. The hotel has a great price quality ratio and although not being the subject of recent modernization is really comfortable. All-day cleaning is unfair. It has a very nice pool on the back. Heavy advice for the authenticity of the hotel."

"I've just returned from a wonderful holiday in Crete which was our first visit. We stayed at Girogiali and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is literally on your doorstep and the pool is fabulous. It is in a great area for restaurants and shops and we didn't want for anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned every 2 days with clean towels provided. The sunbeds are free and plentiful. While the on site bar was closed on our trip there was a lovely one just a few steps away next door so no problems. The shower was a tad small but that would be my only criticism. Thank you Girogiali for making our first trip to Crete a memorable one. Hope to see you next time."

"We had a wonderful holiday here. The complex is beautiful, well-maintained, and quiet, and the pool is fantastic. The sandy beach is a 5-10 minute walk away. The apartments are located slightly uphill and offer a fantastic view of the sea and mountains. Vaggelis is very friendly and available to help! Highly recommended! 👍"

"If you want to experience Cretan hospitality very near to a large and attractive beach with plenty of authentic tavernas nearby and also beautiful walks in the hills with olive groves and Mountain Views, this is the perfect place. Melina and Antonis are such kind and generous hosts who make you feel like old friends. The accommodation we stayed in was comfortable, in perfect condition, very clean and well organised with beautiful views of the sea from the balcony. There was everything we needed for our two week stay and they also lent us beach mat and sun umbrellas so we didn't have to buy them. They gave us helpful advice and answered all of our questions about the area patiently and always with a smile! We were delighted with our stay from every point of view and will be recommending it to friends and family. We also recommend our favourite Taverna, Katsarales which just happens to be the closest! We will be back!"
