Descending the creaky wooden stairs, the aroma of cured meat wafts from the kitchen. Watching the morning sunlight filter through the wooden lattice windows feels like a gentle postmark on the passage of time. How many unforgettable moments are there in life? I don't know. But the dusk in the stilt house is one. The setting sun shines over the carved railings, the corn in the fields sways gently in the wind, my sister brings me sweet plums, and the smoke from the cooking stove lingers around the shadow of the wooden house, turning the days into poetry. The wooden house hangs over the green hills, lanterns illuminate the carved windows, glutinous rice balls chase fireflies, and wind chimes on the eaves accompany the chirping of insects into my dreams. Opening the window in the morning, mist drifts over the steps, and I feel as if I've awakened from a thousand-year-old story. How many unforgettable moments are there in life? I don't know. But the rainy night in the stilt house is definitely one. Raindrops hit the green tiles, the wooden walls are seeping with pine resin, grandma is frying pickles by the fire, sparks splash in the story, and even the breath is wrapped in the warmth of mountains and rivers.
