DDushishikeI want to write a detailed review of this guesthouse in Weixi.
There were so few reviews that I was a little worried before booking. We arrived a bit late and hadn't eaten, so the owners quickly cooked some dishes for us: stir-fried pork with chili peppers and shredded potatoes—very home-style cooking, but incredibly delicious.
We booked a room on the first floor, all made of solid wood with underfloor heating. The bedding was brand-name and very comfortable, and the bathroom had a smart toilet.
The most unforgettable experience was the breakfast the next day, along with the beautiful little garden. I must say, it was the best yak butter tea I've ever had, along with roasted glutinous rice cakes with a hint of wheat flavor, and steamed buns made by the owner himself, all made with grains he grew himself. The eggs were also much more fragrant than those in the city.
You can tell the owner puts their heart into the business; the flowers and plants in the courtyard were blooming beautifully even in winter. We originally planned to book Songtsam, but it was fully booked, so we stayed here. After visiting the suites upstairs, we felt this place offered excellent value for money. If I have the chance to come to Weixi again, I will definitely choose Yue Ting.
Here are some pictures of the upstairs guest rooms; the window views are amazing, and you can even see the Bodhidharma Cave in the distance. This is Qibie Village in Weixi Township, a small village entirely inhabited by the Naxi people, worth slowing down and staying for a few days.
GGudemogenThe air conditioning and heating effect of the room is good, the bedding is comfortable, the hot water is fast, the host arranged room 308 for us, the starry sky is particularly beautiful at night, it is very convenient to see the golden monkey, breakfast is also sent to the room, too comfortable, rocking chair Looking at the mountain view is very healing
GGuest UserAs soon as Weixi entered the door on a business trip, he was attracted by the decoration style of the homestay. It was simple and stylish. Every detail revealed the intention and taste. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was super comfortable, and I slept well until dawn!
The room is clean, spacious, bright, convenient facilities, good service, there is nothing to say, there are blankets in the room, there is a graphene electric heater, the sound of sleeping at night is very quiet, much better than the air conditioner, and there is plenty of hot water. The key is that the price is still very affordable, the price is very high, highly recommended! ! !
AAnonymous UserThe guesthouse is located in Tacheng, making it convenient for watching golden monkeys. The overall environment of the guesthouse is nice, the rooms are quite large, and the owner had arranged fresh flowers. There's a small balcony, and the owner was very welcoming. The breakfast was also quite plentiful. The only drawback was that the bedding wasn't very clean. When I lifted the covers, I saw long hairs and some black bits of dirt, which would be very unpleasant for someone with a strong aversion to germs. I hope they can improve their hygiene standards.
WWanderingBritGood sized room, with complementary tea and water.
I had dinner downstairs and it was great value. I completely over ordered but they packed it up for me which was great
Stayed there to try and see the Yunnan Snub Nosed Monkeys.
Sadly I found out that the park was closed because of landslides. Nothing the hotel could have done about it, and they were helpful in arranging a bus back to Shangri-La once I'd found out.
No English was spoken, but they would help me through my translate app where I asked them.
GGuest UserThe rooms and bathrooms are quite big and clean. Because of the newly opened, the quilt pillows are new and there is an elevator for easy access. The boss and the front desk clerk are thoughtful and enthusiastic, and they must help if they have anything to do.
BBaptisteNice hotel, relatively clean, and very well located for visiting the Tacheng Monkey Reserve. It's a shame, however, that the hotel doesn't offer breakfast or a shuttle service to the site.
It's a 45-minute walk to the entrance, so it's reasonable.
Otherwise, it's great; I recommend it!
GGuest UserThe proprietress is very welcoming, the location is quite good, the recommended location is also very good for eating, the environment is also very good, and the overall satisfaction
