2-Star Hotels in Varkala

The hotel is new and clean. There is no point in posting photos, because all the photos on tripcom are true. All the furniture is new and in excellent condition. Air conditioners, fans - everything works. There is also hot water, you need to wait a little until it drains. There is a refrigerator (new, odorless), an electric kettle, a TV (we did not turn it on, we do not know if it works or not). Soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shampoo are provided upon check-in. All this in small format. The service in the hotel is no worse than in Europe. They helped with any issue that arose. We have not seen such an attitude towards tourists for a long time. We have been traveling around Asia for 8 years, we have something to compare with. This hotel is the best of those we have been to. It is far from the beaches. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the nearest beach. But if you take a moped, there should be no problems. The hotel has a parking lot. And 24-hour security. We arrived at the hotel very early, check-in was done without extra charge for early check-in. Breakfast: vegetarian buffet. Our rating for the hotel and its staff is 10 out of 10!

Nice and clean

Very good location, only 5 mins away from the main cliff. Clean rooms, and bathroom was decently maintained. There are not a lot of amenities considering that it's a homestay, so bring those items with you. But basic soap and shampoo was available. A kettle was there ***** with tea bags, etc. Breakfast was fine, for the price we paid. The caretaker jishu was available throughout our stay for any help. Extra bed was not available, but an extra mattress was given upon request. Don't expect an exquisite customer service because there are no trained hotel staff here. Only one caretaker is available for the full property. The main usp has to the proximity to the beach.

Overall everything was nice. In particular, the hotel parks cars right on the approaches to the room. For the rooms with sea view, it is not worth paying over, as it is not a sea view. From Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday to be ready for a very loud music until 2 nights, in 15 metres of night club and it is not regulated anyway.
