2-Star Hotels in Donghae-si

It was a really nice stay! Since the room was quite affordable for a 3-day vacation, I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be much better than I expected, especially for the price. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was peaceful and had a charming village atmosphere. Each room has a table outside, so we were able to have dinner and relax on the porch in the evenings, which was a lovely experience. The accommodation is a bit farther from Mukho’s city center, but it was definitely worth it for the price. It was also easy to get a taxi whenever we wanted to go into the city. Basic amenities such as shampoo, body wash, and towels are provided, although you may still prefer to bring your own toiletries for personal comfort. There’s also a shared microwave available, and each room comes with its own refrigerator. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and a big part of that was thanks to the owner. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel very welcome, and I would happily stay here again.

The location is great and the staff are friendly. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a convenience store right in front, so it's convenient. However, it's a busy area, so it can be a bit noisy until late at night.

The rooms are very clean. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. The rooms have everything you need, including water and juice in the fridge, as well as tea and instant coffee. There's also a microwave on the ground floor. The only downside is that you have to let the shower run for a very long time before the hot water comes out.

I decided to go on a long-distance trip to Gangneung and Donghae before my elementary school child's vacation starts, and while looking around, I decided on Hotel Coco. The advantage of the hotel is its cost-effectiveness. It was nice that it was cleaned well and the bedding was clean. Usually, in some places, the mattress cover is not replaced when cleaning after a stay, but here, even the cover and the bedding on it were clean. The blanket covering was warm and clean. The bathroom was clean. The refrigerator worked well, so it was good to store food. Although the hotel seemed old, it was well maintained. And the next morning, service for the sauna in the building next door is included. It was good. It was good for relieving travel fatigue. The owner kindly explained it to me, but breakfast was no longer provided and the sauna was free for those staying, so I was curious and tried it out early the next morning. Of course, you should not imagine the sauna as a 4 or 5 star hotel sauna. It was a clean bath and sauna facility and there were no problems using it. Anyway, I had a very comfortable stay in a well-maintained, cost-effective hotel. Lastly, rather than a shortcoming, I wish this could be improved a bit. The parking space is small, so I have to worry about getting in and out of the car. And I stayed in room 803, and there was only a TV inside room 803. It would have been nice to be connected. Users will be very satisfied if the TV in the room is connected rather than the TV in the living room, so they can watch TV while lying in bed. Next, I lie down on the bed in the room and relax comfortably while watching TV. I'm looking forward to seeing myself ^^ Other than these two things, I really liked Hotel Coco. I would like to recommend it to those who are looking for a cost-effective hotel without expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel. I will use Hotel Coco every time I travel to the East Sea. 동해에 도착하는 시간이 늦어서 대중 교통이 거의 없는 시간이라 동해터미널에서 걸어갈 수 있는 호텔을 예약했습니다. 평점이 좋아서 예약했는데 건물 전체에서 냄새가 심합니다. 엘리베이터를 같이 타고 옆방 분들과 우연히 올라가게 됐는데 여자분이 냄새가 너무 난다고 하시는 말씀을 들었습니다 방음은 안 좋은 편이라 옆방 소리 다 들리고 벽지 여기저기가 찢어졌는데 다른 벽지로 짜깁기 하거나 방치해 둔 상태였습니다. 화장실청소는 괜찮은 편이지만 수전부분이 안 닦여져 허옇게 된 상태였습니다. 제가 서울에서 비슷한 가격의 호텔에 묵었던 경험을 미뤄보면 가격대비 좋다고 볼 수는 없는 것 같습니다. 난방은 굉장히 잘 되어 있는 편이라 저는 오히려 더웠습니다. 평이 좋았던 조식은 주말이라 못 먹어서 아쉽습니다. 환기나 냄새관리에 조금 더 신경 써 주시면 좋을 것 같습니다.
