The Avid Hotel Orlando Airport (an IHG brand) is simple and practical. The free airport shuttle is punctual, making transfers super convenient. The room is clean and modern, the bedding is comfortable, and the space, while compact, is perfectly adequate. There's a 24-hour front desk, free parking, and coffee available all day in the lobby. The breakfast is straightforward with a good selection of hot food. There's no pool, so amenities are streamlined, but the price is affordable. It's a reliable and high-value-for-money option near the airport.

The hotel was very easy to find, excellent location for tourists. The hotel has a very good location, and it is a good location for the hotel. That was very irritating because I just wanted to get and bath and I had to go out for a cash-off. The room was clean and smells pleasant, although the sawns had cigarette burns marks where you want 😂 The bathroom garden made pieces and very small and all the water fell out 🤦♀️ Otherwise everything else was okay.

I stayed here with a friend to visit Universal.
The room was very clean and thoroughly maintained, with attention to every detail. There is one shuttle bus per day from the hotel to Universal and one returning to the hotel. To get to Epic, you need to transfer buses, but it wasn’t too difficult. The return shuttle from Universal to the hotel was at 6:00 PM, which felt a bit early for us, so we took a city bus instead. It was only $2, and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so it was very convenient.
The staff were also very kind and friendly throughout our stay.

Guest UserGood value to price. We had a 2 queen room on the 3rd floor. Nothing fancy on the outside, but has everything you need to feel comfortable and unwind in the room. Do note that it may smell a musty if you are very sensitive to smell. Because you are so close to the highway, it gets loud especially on pool side, but also for the location, you're not too far from downtown and the highway to move around orlando. Front desk was friendly and breakfast had a good variety. Would stay again

Zhigengniao520The hotel is very close to the highway, which makes it easy to find. However, the hotel is quite old, the elevator is shaking when going up, and the door card is also old-fashioned. It failed twice and had to be replaced. The room is big, but the facilities are old. It is okay for this price range. The important thing is: the ”free airport shuttle” written in the facilities of this hotel disappeared three months ago. Don't refer to it when booking a room. We were fooled and booked this hotel

I stayed here for 3 nights- Monday to Thursday. Feb 10-13th
I was taking my nephew on a trip to Orlando, a little getaway to spoil him, on a small budget. I needed cheap, and I did my research. I’ll be honest, I read some of the reviews for Garnet Inn, and they weren’t all great. I can’t tell you about those peoples stay. But I can tell you about mine
My stay here was fantastic. We had a great time, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I will stay here again, 100%
A few things to note- it’s a cheap hotel.
Is it fancy? No. Is it older? Yes.
Was it clean? Absolutely
The lobby is not impressive. It could be updated, the furniture looks a bit outdated, but was it clean? Yea it was! Was the price affordable? Yes it was!
The room has everything I needed. 2 beds. Lots of pillows. A huge tv mounted on the wall. A fridge. A microwave. A bar of soap. A package of shampoo. Fresh clean towels and sheets. The room was clean. Floors were clean. Bathroom was clean. The mirror was spotless. I have zero complaints on cleanliness.
I chose a pool view room. Which we loved. Let me tell you about the pool. It was very clean, and there is a kiddie pool and an adult pool. Both were great. The kiddie pool is 1 foot deep. Great for kids who can’t swim, or who just what to splash around. The adult pool is big, clean, has stairs, a railing and even a lift.
The staff- everyone was super friendly to me. Check in was easy. Check out was easy. Life was simple here
The breakfast- your getting the basics. Cereal, waffles, toast. Coffee and juice and milk. There was lots. It did not run out. It’s included in your stay, at that cheap of a price guess what? It’s sufficient
Room cleaning- housekeeping came everyday. Made the bed. Cleaned the garbage and changed my towels. I didn’t have to ask. They just did it.
The location- close to everything. 10 min drive to anywhere you want to go. There is a really good restaurant in the same parking lot, as well as a 7/11. There is a McDonald’s a 3 min walk down the street.
To sum it up, could it be fancier? Sure. But if it was you wouldn’t be getting this cheap of a price. All my needs were met, it was comfortable, clean, and the staff are friendly. I will be staying here again, no doubt !

We stayed at this Days Inn the night before our cruise departure from Port Canaveral. Its close proximity to the Orlando airport made it a convenient choice for our late arrival, though it did mean a longer drive to the port the following morning. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was clean and met our expectations for a short overnight stay.
Breakfast was included, which was appreciated, but it fell just short of what most would consider a true continental breakfast. The selection was fairly limited, and the pastries in particular tasted more like day-old items than fresh offerings. Overall, it served its purpose for a one-night stay near the airport.

100% this for the solo traveler, not for families. Great location has its pitfalls from random people hanging out late nights and you're in location of construction going on around you. No security on site.
