The hotel was located next to the harbour, the room was very clean and had fridge, tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was a continental buffet with a variety of cheese, meats, bread, fruit, and cereals. A short walk from the hotel is a large selection of shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. Hotel in Mont Saint Michel itself. An unforgettable experience - to find yourself at night inside a completely deserted medieval city (during the day, the narrow streets and stairs are jammed with tourists). The hotel is in a historical building - be prepared for the lack of an elevator and small rooms, but the ambience makes up for everything. There are restaurants, no problems with dinner. Parking on the mainland (follow the signs to ”P3”), the code for the barrier must be requested from the hotel, a shuttle runs from the parking lot, from the shuttle it is about 100 meters on foot.

What did I enjoy the most? It’s the convenience where it is walkable from anywhere you want to explore around Pontorson, few mins walk from train station too. The rural French-feel, tasty breakfast prepared with utmost care, and the warm welcoming smile from staff. Bonus, there’s a pool too! Wonderful stay here and I would definitely book again given another chance. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The room was incredibly comfortable and pleasantly cool, which was a huge relief given how hot the weather was in France. It was also very spacious, and having a fully equipped kitchen allowed the two of us to cook our own meals easily. The location is excellent—there is free parking on-site, and it’s only take 15-minute drive to Mont Saint-Michel. It’s also very convenient for day trips, taking just over an hour to drive to Cancale and St. Malo, and there’s a convenience store only a 10-minute drive away. On top of that, the beautiful swimming pool and peaceful surroundings made our stay even better. The self-check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, which we highly appreciated since we arrived quite late that day. Highly recommended!

Love staying at La mere poulard. Love everything but the flies which I think it’s hard to get rid of due to the location. It was beautiful otherwise. Breakfast was yummy. Just go early like 8 or 9 am And be grateful… make sure to greet the staff and say thank you. It’s the other way around in Europe just to have your manners. Learn Bonjour and merci … it will make a big difference!!!!
