The accommodation consists of individual wooden bungalows with comfortable beds. Each room has heating and complete cooking facilities. There are no restaurants in the area, so it's advisable to bring your own food. The surroundings are beautiful with a pleasant atmosphere. On clear days, you can even see the Northern Lights from this location.

The most satisfying hotel of my Iceland trip. It had a very Nordic feel, was located right by the lake in the town, had convenient parking, and offered opportunities to see the Northern Lights from the mountains behind the hotel at night with no light pollution.

On the way to the hotel, we were still concerned about the facilities since it’s in the middle of Iceland. However, once we arrived, we felt quite comfortable. The room was spacious, and the view from the canteen during breakfast was especially beautiful!
