3-Star Hotels in Kunigami District

This was the best accommodation we stayed at during our Okinawa trip. My only regret is that our itinerary only allowed us to stay for one night. We loved everything from the traditional Okinawan house exterior and the tatami room layout typical of Japanese homes, to the impeccably clean, modern kitchen and bathroom. Getting to the beach behind the property was a bit challenging due to the overgrown path, but our spirits lifted the moment we saw the ocean. Plenty of towels were provided, and having a washing machine, dryer, and laundry detergent available was great for taking care of our swimsuits after swimming. With a microwave, kettle, and toaster provided, it was convenient to buy food from outside and heat it up. The air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure was strong, so we stayed comfortably without any issues during our stay. It rained overnight, but we woke up to the loud chirping of insects outside the house. My child said this was the most memorable accommodation. The only minor drawback during our stay was how tricky it was to open the door upon check-in. It's a manual key system, and the lock mechanism was quite small, making it hard to tell if it was properly unlocked. We struggled so much with it that we had to ask a foreign guest staying in the neighboring unit, who had already checked in, for help to get it open. They mentioned they had a hard time opening their door at first as well.

The map navigated us to another building of the B&B, but it did state that the actual office was 700 meters further. It might be a bit hard to find if it were dark, but luckily we arrived in the early evening. The standalone cottage for two felt a bit too big for us! 😹 But the B&B was very thoughtful; it had all the pots, pans, and cutlery. There were even fireworks in the living room (for an extra charge if used). The kitchen also had salt and oil, which was a nice touch. Upstairs, there was a tatami common area; it felt like you could fit several people if you just put down some mattresses. The only downside is probably having to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and I was a bit worried about falling. 🤭

I had a great stay here, not because they upgraded me to a 2-room unit but their overall environment/surrounding is welcoming. From the location, to the room condition to the front desk staff, I have no complaints. Firstly, free own private carpark lots. Secondly, within 10-13min walk to the Churaimi Aquarium Center and Emerald beach. Thirdly, there is a washing machine and dryer for laundry! Lastly it's calm and quiet here. The nearest convenient store is Lawson, about 9min away. I added meal to my booking and it's a simple bento box with yummy breakfast! The beach area is clean and the water is super clear and blue. Fantastic spot! If I return to this area, won't hesitate to stay here again! 🤗

The B&B has ample indoor space and is very clean, plus it has its own parking area. All rooms face the ocean, so you can open the curtains in the morning and enjoy the sea view, which is incredibly relaxing 😎. It comes with a kitchen and all the basic pots and pans you might need, along with a rice cooker, microwave, washing machine, and dryer. A standout feature is the strong water pressure in the shower, which is wonderfully refreshing and washes away a day's fatigue and sweat 😌. There's also a convenience store right downstairs, perfect for satisfying any sudden cravings. I highly recommend this B&B! 👍👍

Very convenient hotel. There is a combination of perfect location (very close to Emerald beach, 10 min walking to the best corals I ever seen in Bisezaki, 3 min walking to Churaumi aquarium with outside turtle pool and dolphins show, probably optimal point to discover Ocean Expo park with really great garden and big culture museum, Yanbaru bus station at entrance, Lowson in 50 meters), great friendly service (also in english available, and they try to help you in any situations), comfortable rooms (you can find all necessary things you need), wash and dry machine were our regular helpers, vanity tools are available on desc at reception (its free), small shop with souvenirs and other gifts you can also find inside, water pool have enough space for quit big company and includes kids zone (0,6 m depth). And all of this plenty peculiarities have a great background - there is no many people (also exactly in hotel, there is only three floors). So, if you prefer small number of people and want to find lovely place by chip price, I want to recommend this hotel.

The location is fantastic, and there's a private beach with water activities. The swimming pool is also very clean. Every room has a balcony, and the rooms themselves are incredibly spacious. There's plenty of parking available too.

Traveling as a group of four, the room felt incredibly spacious and offered a fantastic open view. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience. The only minor point was that both check-in and check-out were completely self-service, but thankfully we managed to get everything done successfully.

Bird photography at the hotel backyard is not allowed which is ridiculous as there is no warning sign or whatsoever. A lady just came to say something with probably not a polite attitude. As a bird photographer who selects this hotel especially for bird photography and this special need cannot be accepted at their backyard! This is no fun at all. If the hotel doesn’t allow photographers to take bird photos at their backyard, they have to make it very clear in their Facebook or at least upon checking in !

This hotel is very good. The room is very big and spacious. There is a microwave, refrigerator and washing machine. It is very convenient. The window is open to the wilderness. It is very quiet. It is close to Intercontinental. There are convenience stores and shops next to it. The restaurant is very good. However, the hotel's working hours are 3pm-9pm, so the check-in time can only be within this range. If you exceed the time, you will be charged.

The room looked clean, but when I walked to the tatami place to see, it was actually full of hair and a lot of sand dust, and then carefully checked the entire room floor, I can only say that there is a lot of dust, a lot of sand and a lot of hair! I can't believe it..... Later, I wiped the floor all over, and the pillow shook the dust before I had a way to rest and would not choose to stay again.
