3-Star Hotels in Minakami

Worth the price if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food and ryokan experience. Comfy private indoor onsen. The staff are really nice and can communicate in English via good translate. They has a shuttle to Minakami Station when we checked out.

Run by Chinese, communication is easy. European-style decor, but details could be improved. There's a hot spring and open-air bath, and a self-service drink on the first floor. There's a dilapidated hot spring street on the water, and a photo of a renovated ruin with live music is included.

Restaurant close early . Cannot order food . Vending machines only take cash

Our visit to this hotel was perfectly adequate. The traditional setting provided a nice sense of atmosphere, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The onsen facilities themselves were clean and relaxing, meeting our expectations for a hot spring experience. Our room was spacious, but the amenities felt a little dated and could use some refreshment. Dinner and breakfast were included, offering a standard array of Japanese cuisine that was palatable, though not exceptional. The staff were polite. Overall, it's a safe and decent choice if you're looking for a no-frills, standard onsen hotel experience.

The three-person room feels new, and the equipment will be more new than the room. The guests who feel that they are basically coming to the private lake view hot spring on the top floor, or the reason for the cold wave. There are almost no people using the two large baths, and several times they are private. Although the three-story large bathing area has open air, in fact, the large bathing area on the first floor also has open-air hot springs. It really has a special flavor to soak in hot springs in the snow.

It was a friendly and at home atmosphere, and it was an inn that I wanted to stay again. The hot spring was hot in the middle and the outside hot water was wet, so it was better if it was the opposite. Your husband seems to like whiskey, and Suntory's Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Hibiki can drink at a conscientious price.

We stayed for one night in late November. It was a shame that the autumn leaves were at their final stage. The tofu kaiseki cuisine was delicious, tasty, and colorful. Many of the surrounding hotels and inns have closed, so the scenery feels lonely. I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy both the baths and the food.
